UNCbasketballbumParticipantI really like him as an analyst. He’s funny and knows his basketball. I remember he was covering the summer league a couple years ago when he had David Kahn as a guest courtside. It was hilarious, such an awkward interview. Kahn wanted to compare Darko to Webber and Chris was having none of that. He ends the interview with a sarcastic "good luck." Here’s the link, good stuff.

aamir543ParticipantLoved him as a player as well, too bad knee injuries cut his prime short, he was a pwoer foward with handles, an excellent scorer, I love his commentary as well, knows what he’s talking about, he’s much better doing color commentary than in the studio.
And on a side-note we take Chuck, Kenny, and even Magic, and Broussard for granted and most of us don’t like the guys other than Chuck and Kenny, but when thsoe two were gone for March Madness the two chumps who replaced them on Inside The NBA were terrible, not only were they boring, they got facts wrong, one of them said that "Monta only carried the Warriors to two playoff apperances" First off it was 1, and second the one we did make he was the third or fourth option, and the guys on NBA TV are even worse, during the fee week I couldn’t stand them, they also get stuff wrong, after that I appreciate the TNT and ESPN guys so much more, even if Shaq does mumble a bit.

Really aamir? I’m sure nobody on this site would have ever guessed he was a power forward and an excellent scorer. You should really try to be an NBA scout, seems as if you really dug deep in that analysis.

BiggysmallsParticipantYou really dont get that kind of analysis anywhere else

Timeout
Webber is doing a great job but he will live in infamy for that timeout…

And taking money from Ed Martin then throwing him under the bus and saying he had never taken anything from him. Then never paying him back.0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/02/2012 - 6:38pm #666825

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIm okay with that. At least you remember me.. The base word of "infamous" is "famous."

For_Never_EverParticipantTNT was better with him than Shaq. Shaq isn’t a good analyst and his humor is forced unlike C Webb.

Critically ThinkingParticipanti really like greg anthony too during the game. tonight i thought he was good with the magic and pacers. despite the annoying, "is it march mayhem? is it march montony? no its march maddness!" commercials during the NCAAs

Memphis MadnessParticipantThe NBA should adopt May-hem as their Playoff slogan.
If college can have March Madness then the NBA can have May-hem.Nothing says May-hem like blowing 20 point leads, busted ACL’s, and punching glass. Jerry the King Lawler doing some pile drivers helps too.

Wavy BagelsParticipantHe’s also a talented music producer. He produced the track "Blunt Ashes" off of Nas’ "Hip Hop Is Dead" LP.

IndianaBasketballParticipant"I saw on tv today… This man, he lost his son… His son died. So he had him cremated, took his ashes and made into a diamond ring. Now he watch his son shine everyday"
That Nas song went hard. Chris Webber did a great job on that beat. He’s one of Nas’ best friends.

Really like C-Webb as an analyst. You can tell he’s excited to do it and really enjoys his job. I like his energy. Not negative, he’s unbiased, not always talking about what he did during his career, etc.

HitsterParticipantC-Webb knows his stuff as a guy who played in the NBA for around 15 years should do. I always look for good analysts in any sport to point out the little things the guys watching at home might not pick up on and to call the plays which coaches will make etc.
As regards C-Webb for the HOF, his college career could either help or hinder him, he was a great college player but then the scandal hit which some traditionalists would not have liked. I don’t think he gets in immediately especially with so many great players being due to become eligible in due course but may 10 years or so down the line, people think hell why isn’t C-Webb in the HOF and he gets elected in.

McWinningParticipantErnie, Charles, Kenny and C-webb had perfect chemistry, i wish they wouldve kept him, ever Gary Payton was better than Shaq is now.
On a side note how do you think a Shaq, C-Webb duo would have worked out if the Magic would have worked if the Magic hadnt traded him?
I think it wouldve worked pretty well, C-Webbs versatility, and passing ability wouldve mixed well with Shaq.
Of course Hardaway, and Shaq worked too.
