Chris Paul

I'm not here to bash Chris Paul as I think he's a very good player but all this talk about him being "Hands down" the best pg and "3rd best player in the league" nonsense has to stop. I can't count how many times I've heard he's without question the best pg in the league, like there's no debating it.

I don't see how anyone can watch the Thunder series and say that he's better than Westbrook. I understand if you say you would rather have him on your team or whatever, but he's not a better player. I will go even further as to say that Stephen Curry, a healthy DRose, and Westbrook would make the Clippers a better team right now than Paul does. Not to mention, I'd have Rondo right there with anyone, regardless of position in the playoffs.

Its just unbelievable to me how everyone just rides Chris Paul's jock. I mean he's definitely up there in regards to best PG, but "hands down?"...give me a break with that crap. I even saw an espn article about flopping and someone mentioned his name and there was about 1000+ replies just saying he's a savant or some sh**. smh

Excellent PG and player? Yes. "Hand's Down" Best PG and 3rd best NBA Player? No way.

Russ is obviously the better player and if you have been watching the games between OKC and LAC then theres now way you can say CP is better than Russ,Russ has dominated Chris these last two games

The media has been

The media has been brainwashing us with CP3 and Dwight for years and people just run with it. I'm here to say CP3 is overrated. People bash Westbrook about his style and helping teammates get better. CP3 is suppose to be such a great leader and floor general who has he made a better player over his whole career and don't say DJ that was Doc. Don't worry I'll wait.

also I can never respect a man that his another man in the nuts intentionally. Somebody que up the Julius Hodge video please

to - 3 no biases... You

to - 3 no biases...

You will learn something on this site. There are certain untouchable players on this site

CP3, Lebron , and even Greg Oden, I rememeber calling Oden a bust years ago. I got a

million negatives. Oden himself according to a recent article calls himself one of the biggest busts of all time. If

Oden himself posted that here on this site, someone would probably give him a negative!

it is up for debate but I

it is up for debate but I still think he's the best all around point guard in the league. Westbrook may have a better upside as a scorer but in terms of overall impact, Paul is a much better passer, more consistent defender and I don't think you could argue with the fact that he's much more efficient than Westbrook in regards to both his Ast/TO ratio and FG%. He's also really undervalued as a vocal presence on both sides of the ball. Whereas guys like Russ and Rondo clearly excel massively at a few things in particular, Paul has a general game that has very few holes, other than his flopping.

CP3 vs Westbrook

Did not watch the games due to the NFL Draft but this is what I've been receiving...

"CP3 looks helpless tryna guard him lol"
"CP3 stay looking for the Help Defense"

Chris Paul is the best PG in

Chris Paul is the best PG in the league. He's the most efficient, and rarely turns the ball over. So what if he doesn't average 25 ppg? He averages 19 points on 14 shots, 10+ assists, 2.5+ steals. Shoots awesome percentages. Makes the right decision 99 out of 100 times.

Westbrook is taking 7 more shots a game, he should average more points. Oh yeah, and he averages more turnovers, less assists, less steals, and shoots much worse from the field vs Paul. Basketball IQ much lower than Paul's.

Westbrook is amazing and a top 10 player, but he's the 2nd best PG in the league.

Who cares who we think is

Who cares who we think is better Westbrook is a clear mismatch for cp3... Bit for CP3 to be such a good floor general his teams always seem to struggle on offense in the clutch

Rondo

Dominates them all in the playoffs. Not my opinion, based on what we have seen. No PG besides him and Parker show and prove more come Playoff time.

If I had to choose one PG to

If I had to choose one PG to run my team it would be Paul. Westbrook is my favourite player in the league and I stand by him through any contraversy or injury but when your talking about the position and its duties Paul is the best.

Westbrook is the more talented player for sure. But Paul is the better PG.

I love the pace CP3 plays

He said something the other day that caught my attention... "I'm not a shooting guard, I'm a point guard"... Which is something I forget... I mean, WE forget... He's not suppose to put up 25+ points a game if his teammates is scoring... He's probably one of 2 PG's in the league that actually play the opposing PG defensively... For as good as Westbrook played last game, CP3 is still better... Westbrook does NOT play like that every game... If he did then you guys might have a point... But its simply not true... The way he was passing the ball FIRST, I haven't seen on a consistent basis from him... CP3 is the best PG in the league and it's not close...

Now CP3, the player... Which is simply different in my opinion... He's practically untouchable... You can't criticize CP3 because he's simply the best PG in the league... When he doesn't shoot enough, we say it's because he's a PG... Which is correct... But I can't put CP3 as a Top 5 player for that reason alone... If his teammates show up, yes... Have 18 points and 10 assists Chris... But if everyone is playing terrible, I shouldn't see Chris Paul going 7-10 from the field... We all SEE how he can practically score on every possession... I've seen him dominate the Lakers possession after possession with the pick and roll in the playoffs... That's impossible to stop with him... But I don't see him doing that with the Clippers late in games... That's his major flaw in my opinion... He's not selfish enough... He gets off easy while guys like Melo is crucified for not winning a ring or in the playoffs... Chris Paul never made it to the conference Finals... He got knocked out in the first round last year... He has a Top 15 player on his team, a player that finished 3rd in MVP voting... When does CP3 theTop 5 player get some flack?? Hell every superstar caught it but him... Bron, Melo, Love, D12, KD, Russell, D-Rose, etc... Never see anything bad about him... Nothing...
