Feel for this kid.  Hope whatever it is that he can learn from his mistakes.  I’ve always enjoyed watching him play.  Extremely quick guard that, while not a big time NBA prospect, has plenty of game.

Upshaw, the kid from duke was the first player ever kicked off the team. Now jones..in the old days a star couldn’t do no wrong.. Now it seems like coaches don’t mind dumping their star players.. I wonder y?

I negged you because you said Upshaw played for Duke when he was dismissed from Washington. Rasheed Sulaimon is who Duke let go. I’ve also negged you for thinking Klay Thompson was Stephen Curry’s brother, and for saying Thomas Robinson should go back to college to dominate and be the #1 overall pick. Coaches "dump" players because they have standards.

I think that its bull shit that he got dismissed, atleast at this point. If they were going to dismiss him, then they should have never had him reinstated. The kid is a huge part of the reason why they were able to avoid the upset against Miami and they reward him by dismissing him right after being reinstated 1 game prior?

While Jones was an effective defender in their pressing scheme, I think he will be addition by subtraction on offense.  He’s been incredibly inefficient shooting the ball, sitting at 37.9% from the field and 33.9% from 3. Louisville definitely lacks depth, but redistributing those shots between Harrell, Rozier, and Blackshear is not the worst scenario.  They definitely cannot survive any more injuries though.
