Striver347ParticipantChris Boucher strikes me as an anomalous talent that flies under the radar despite being a member of a rather high profile team in the NCAA.
I’m aware of his injury which is one reason as to why his stock has tanked. Does anyone have projections for him? I can imagine a team like San Antonio mining him and striking gold.
His skill set seems to be highly coveted although his body seems to have changed very little, if at all, over the course of the past few seasons. He appears to have pretty high potential and I’m shocked that he isn’t being spoken about, despite his age and frame.

Anton123ParticipantA 6’10” big guy with long arms weighing 182 pounds is just crazy, I know he’s been injured, but even Nerlens Noel didn’t drop under 200 pounds after a longer period of time. It sure is gonna be tough being a big man who weighs less than Jawun Evans. That would have been a major weakness even for a 19-year old, but the fact that he’s over 24 just makes it so much worse.
He might get picked mid to late second round, but I don’t see how he can be a successful NBA player, he’ll be thrown around like a rag doll by many of the PGs in the NBA.

sweaterflexParticipantLast year analytics models loved Boucher, when his combination of elite shot blocking and solid 3 point projections made him look like a first rounder in spite of his age. His free throw shooting regressed a bit this year, but he seems like he could at least be a Brandan Wright type in the pros, with an outside shot of being a stretch big, definitely worth a second rounder.
