IndianaBasketballParticipantGotta love the way Bosh stands up to the criticism and isn’t afraid to hold himself accountable.
He gets a lot of criticism, but he may be the most likeable of the Heat’s Big Three.

Chilbert arenasParticipantI was impressed with Bosh, I can’t stand the dude but he really showed class. But now we know talking ill of the Bosh name really grinds his gears. (Listen up NBA)

DolanCareParticipantwhy would bosh come on the show? this convo is painful to watch, he’s just taking all of their crap. If he’s serious about proving the critics wrong then answer on the court, not on this dumb show

DurantsWingspanI would pay a lot of money to see LeBron do this same thing with Skip.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI watched this on SLAM yesterday, thought Bosh was very classy and handled himself quite well. Guess you have to take what Skip says with a grain of salt, though some people go way to far in following Skip’s words. I even agreed with Jamele Hill in that people went as far as questioning his masculinity, though maybe Shaq is more to blame than Skip considering he once called him "The RuPaul of big men". To people that hate on Chris Bosh, well, the guy is one of the best PF’s in the league. He played great through a majority of the play-offs, and for the few games he played soft, he had even more where he played like an All-Star. Well, I thought he got the better of this one, as is usual of people who confront Skip Bayless.
Skip seemed to be claiming that the reason he is so tough on people is to try and get them to rise to the occasion. I almost sympathize with that, as that is what I tend to do as well (I think even people on this site can attest to that). The thing I do not like about Skip is that he becomes such an antagonist to the point of seeming like a genuinely hateful person towards these figures. He acts like everything is just water off of a ducks back, but I do not think that is the case. I never take him seriously and try not to really watch him at all (easy, since I live in Canada). I always find it funny when these polarizing figures get confronted and turn into suck-ups, Chris Bosh definitely was the bigger man, literally and figuratively.

j2khitmanParticipantI happen to watch the discussion between Chris Bosh and Skip Bayless, and I came away with a couple things. The first, Bosh is a stand up guy. He handled himself with class and didn’t let his emotions get the best of him. He could’ve easily gone off on Bayless and the way he critisizes atheletes, but he took a professional approach. Bosh stated his case and he acknowledged that he could’ve played better for the Miami Heat last season. Bosh is a quiet guy and sometimes his demeanor will get scrutinized, but never question his talents because he is one of the best players in the NBA.
Bosh is a very good player. He will never be in the same elite group as LeBron or Wade, but he is one of the best power forwards in the fame. Before he arrived in South Beach he did make the Toront Raptors a contender until the last two seasons on his contarct. He is not solely responsible for the way the team played. The Raptors werent a taleneted bunch and The GM should take the blame for that not Bosh.
Second, Bayless took the coward approach when responding to Bosh yesterday. I do enjoy Bayless and his rants on how atheletes should carry themselves, but I was disspointed that he didnt go off on Bosh like he usually does when discussing the Miami Heat. Bayless has had numerous names for Bosh in the past and I feel like he was intimidated when Bosh confronted him on it. If Bayless has something to say about atheletes then he shouldnt be afraid to say it when they confront him about it. Athelets will respect him alot more if he tell’s them how he feel’s, instead of putting on an act.

doubledribblerParticipantBosh obviously didn’t have to come on the show, but you have to respect how he handled it. I don’t think that going in there irate was going to prove anything. He got to come in, give his side to the story and on top of things did not make excuses and took accountability. His one complaint about his family name is very valid, but I think in this internet age and the way media is, you see a lot of things that involve doing a take on someone’s name. Just happed to be his last name and I actually think Bosh Spice is pretty clever. When all is said and done, Bosh needs more opportunities to play his game. I think Lebron, Wade, others and coaching staff need to help him establish himself in the post. He was lethal in the high post, but I think if they can keep him more involved you will see a lot better performances from him.

M-DYMESParticipantBosh is a stand up act, a competitor, and seems like a great guy in general. Sure we rip on him for being a "soft" basketball player, but I think most of us truly like and respect him.
Bosh gets a +1 from me.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe doesn’t take himself too seriously like LeBron or Wade.
This is a good dude who’s been getting unfairly criticized in a lot of ways. It’s like he’s the easiest target of the Heat trio, so people go at him.
