Chris Bosh on LeBron

GQ Magazine interview with Chris Bosh

http://www.gq.com/sports/profiles/201201/chris-bosh-miami-heat-interview...

GQ: Quick hypothetical, toes aside: Let's say the game was tied. 10 seconds left. You had 30 points, LeBron's got 30, and Wade's got 30. You got the same amount of rebounds, same amount of assists—having the same great game. Who takes the shot at the end to either win or lose the game.
Chris Bosh: [immediately] Dwyane.

GQ: Why?
Chris Bosh: Because of his success in the past, given what he's done. He's a champ. He's an MVP, and he's hit a bunch of last-second shots. That's the time you have to put pride aside a little bit, and do what's best for the team. He's quickest, and he's gonna get a shot off. He relishes those moments.

___________________________________________________________

What do you guys think about his answer? In my opinion, he's right. LeBron last-second attempts have proved futile. In all honesty, I'd rather have Wade with the ball in his hands in the final seconds. Hell, I'll go as far to say that Bosh needs more plays down the stretch than LeBron.

It's what everyone was saying

It's what everyone was saying last year. Wade needs the ball in his hands with the game on the line. LeBron is the best player in the NBA, but he is not clutch. Some people just aren't clutch and unfortunately he falls into that category. Sad but very true.

LEBRON IS CLUTCH

He carried the Heat all playoffs and made clutch shot after clutch shot. This whole idea of not being clutch is completely overblown...Yeah wade won a championship but people are forgetting all the losing seasons he had when LBJ was leading the cavs to league best records with a team full of so-so players who always disappeared during the playoffs

Chris Bosh is trying to cause

Chris Bosh is trying to cause friction so he can be traded and be more relevant on offense again. Lol. I don't like Bosh but it's true.

Dwayne Wade is never too high

Dwayne Wade is never too high or too low which is what all clutch players have in common. Kobe always plays the same with fire so clutch moments dont bother him, Melo always plays with a smile on his face and relaxed so clutch moments dont bother him.

LeBron is so good thats he plays the 1st 3 quarters just like regular basketball no worries he's just playing, but when the last minutes comes and the game is close and his teammates are constantly giving him the ball he gets flustered remember early in games LeBron is always passing and getting easy shots. In the 4th quarter his teams rely on him but he cant deliver. Its all in his head, in clutch moments he hesitates, 1st 3 quarters he's relaxed.

If he stops thinking and stars playing you'll see a more clutch player

With 5 seconds left I am

To win a series I am going with LeBron. With 5 seconds left I am going with Wade over LeBron every single time.

Chris Bosh keeps it straight

Chris Bosh keeps it straight forward. He's not knocking LeBron James, just keeping it real about Dwyane Wade.

Wade has done it before and has made big shots consistently throughout his career. He's quicker it seems and more creative in terms of being able to get his shot off. James seems stiff and mechanical... Predictable.

If D-Wade is so clutch, why

If D-Wade is so clutch, why does he pass the ball to Lebron in late game situations?

Dwyane Wade definitely can

Dwyane Wade definitely can will his team to a tough win better than Lebron. It's not a big deal. I definitely think Wade is more clutch than Lebron is. I don't think he's a better player because Lebron can do so much of everything and he's just a freak of nature, but I definitely think Wade is the guy you want taking the last shot of a close game between the 2.

SCOTTO YOU IDIOT

Thats not the point, he didnt do as well as LBJ did with more talent or just as little talent around him as LBJ, and he had just after his prime Shaq for a few seasons as well including the championship run. If people judged wade by the same way they did LBJ no one would even begin to say he was a better player or would say hes more clutch

I'm so sick of all this

I'm so sick of all this LeChoke crap, Kobe went 2-8 in overtime and took some unbelievably horrible shots and silly turnovers against Utah, but because his team got them over the line nobody cares. LeBron had 3 great execution plays in the clutch and got himself to the free throw line, he did make 1 or 2 bad decisions but can people stop making it out that he's not clutch, Detroit in 07? How about the buzzer beater against Orlando back in Cleveland, Chicago series last season? If Dwayne Wade stuffed up in the clutch would people be on his ass, i don't see people all over Kobe's backside every time he fails to hit the game winner and they lose. Yes he's failed to come through a couple of times, but seriously, what NBA player hasn't? It's not although he's never come through in the clutch. LeBron has to be the most unfairly critisized player in the history of the game.

^^^^do you know why people

^^^^do you know why people love to make jokes about lebron.........its because people think its funny when his supporters get their panties in a bunch and have to say the same sh!t over again.

But seriously everyone knows lebron is a talented player, he needs to chill focus and just do his thing. lebron is an easy target because he has to draw attention to himself any way possible usually making him look like an a$$hole in the process, this season he seems to be playin, and keeping his mouth shut thats what he should have done from the beginning, now hes learned.

BigDI am no LeBron hater but

BigD

I am no LeBron hater but there's a huge difference between Kobe and LeBron. The main difference is Kobe has 5 rings while LeBron has 0. LeBron completely choked in last year's Finals and ever since he joined the Heat, he has been struggling when it comes down to the final 4-12 minutes of basketball.

Also, while bringing up Kobe's struggles in the final minutes vs Utah, there is a huge difference there. The main difference is the Lakers beat the Jazz.

LeBron lost to a bad Warriors team that had no players that could or should be able to guard LeBron and he followed that with another loss and a poor 4th quarter showing versus the Clippers.

It's extremely rare to see Kobe Bryant struggle in back to back 4th quarters and the Lakers drop both games but when it comes to LeBron, it has become the norm. If it's a close game, most of the time, the Miami Heat lose and LeBron James struggles

Lebron has led a sorry

Lebron has led a sorry Cleveland team to the finals and a few years they had the best record, look at Cleveland now.....

Lebron is clutch in some sense, he might not be the BEST clutch player in the NBA, but he is clutch.

I think the best way to state

I think the best way to state it is:

Since LeBron James has joined the Miami Heat, he has not been consistently clutch.

If i am head coach and my job

If i am head coach and my job is on the line whether we win this game or not, with 5 seconds left i give it to LeBron.... I cant stand him but if my job is on the line I would just have to give it to him... unfortunately he is the best player on the planet and call me crazy but wouldnt u want ur fate left in the hands of the best player?

Lebron FLocka James

Lebron supporters, it doesn't matter whether he is clutch or not, all society asks for is a winner. If he goes 0-13 in the fourth but gets the game winning assist, steal, rebound and block i'll take it. He just wont be seriously mentioned with the all time greats.

The thing is he hasn't won. When you win all that goes away. I don't remember KB's series against Detriot (i do but c'mon) all I remember was him sh!tting on Orlando and toughing out an ugly game against Boston. He was likee 5-23 or sumthing but nobody says KB is not clutch. Winning and being a winner is the highest regard someone can give u as a professional athlete. LBJ has not done that yet. We don't care about what he did in the regular season, or the conference finals. Its all about that Chip. Until he gets 1 you will have to keep defending the self-proclaimed king and until he wins haters can say whatever they please.

with that said LBJ is not clutch. ha :)
