Will everbody forget just how good this guy is because he will be overshadowed by LeBron and Dwyane?

 

Ray Allen was overshadowed by KG and Paul Pierce, and the same happened to Ron Artest and Lamar Odom.  Will we soon forget just how good Chris Bosh is?

 I dont think so.. I think that we will forget that Lebron can score lots of points with a limited offensive game simply because of his body.. I think that we will forget that Bosh was a guy that could create for himself… I dont believe that it will be like Boston..  I feel like with this group, they will show each other’s talents.. Lebron will be a great creator, Wade will be a great scorer from the wing and Bosh will be a great scorer from the block..  They will compliment each other well.. However, I think that in order for Bosh to be at his best, he needs a hard nosed defender beside him.. Anthony, Damp, and Haslem are pretty good fits though..

not really…playing with them folks cant help but notice him..i heard bosh say several times when he was in toronto that he wanted to be a marque player…..pau gasol isnt complaining ..

 If Bosh really wanted to dominate and be a marquee player he should add ten pounds and play Center!!!! despite his listing Bosh is really closer to 6’11 and with that team in need of a true starting pivot they should turn to their 6’11 110 million dollar man to play the post.  That way Haslem can start at 4 and you got yourself a nicer lineup then Joel Anthony starting for anybody.

If one more person refers to Bosh as a "superstar," I’m going to scream. His résumé: seven seasons, 11 career playoff games, one second-team All-NBA selection, never played in a big game in his life other than the gold-medal game of the 2008 Olympics. Now he’s fleeing frigid Toronto for South Beach, no state income tax, Dwyane Wade, max money and the playoffs … and this makes him a "superstar"? Did we really drop our standards that low?

If you want to use cheap stats like this, ok here we go.. Don Nelson isn’t a great coach according to you because he has no NBA Championships and not much success in the playoffs.  SMH

 He might slip in the player rankings due to declining numbers, but I do not think he will slip too far. Everyone expects him to take a back seat like KG kind of did for the Celtics, but this is a different team and Bosh is at a different stage in his career. If he is still not a consistent All-Star, I would be very surprised, and he will still win match-ups consistently. I think the Heat will have ways of making sure these players get to shine, and Bosh will have moments with the second unit where he will be the go-to guy. Everyone is expecting a major decline in points, much like KG in Boston, but I think he will still be 18-20. Also, I think he will be a constant double double threat. For as slight as his frame is, he still has managed to be a much better rebounder than Amare Stoudemire, and it was Bosh, not Dwight Howard, that lead Team USA in rebounding in 2008. So, to me, he will either stay the same or if the Heat win, he might even be ranked higher, much like Pau Gasol has been with his huge contributions to the Lakers titles and success.

You cant compare this to Ray Allen with the Celtics or Artest with the Lakers, none of those teams have a passer like Lebron James, Lebron made Hickson look good, got Varejo his contract, kept Big Z relevant for the past 7 yrs

I expect Bosh to get close to 20 and 10… I feel he might suprise people by putting more emphasis on his defensive intensity..

 I don’t think he’ll average 23 and 11 again but he’ll never have to work hard for his points again. In TO he was the focal point and now he’s the 3rd option. He is a very good player with great skill and he will get more open shots than he can ask for. I expect 19 and 9 with 50+ FG%

 Well I don’t think people forgot about Ray Allen after 09 playoffs vs. the Bulls, if Bosh can give us a reason to remember how good he is we will remember

Im not really a fan of Bosh. He is a great player and to answer the question he will be overshadowed. I just want to point out that I think Bosh will try and act like a tough guy this year with Lebron and Wade. He will say dumb things, he will talk alot of stuff and all in all I just never really liked him. Even with his stellar season last year and his great reboundong numbers I always thought he was soft. I would still rather have Amare. Ill probably get killed for saying it but thats how I feel.

 

And an example of him already acting stupid, at the showing where all 3 came out in Miami, Bosh is screaming and pounding his chest like they already won something. Im not buying Miami at all for a championship this year. They will obviously have a chance but if I had to bet money on the Heat or Lakers, I take lakers all day and sleep well all night.

If Miami win titles then no one will care about the big 3’s individual stats. Gasol puts up the same numbers for Lakers as he did for Memphis but is surely a better player now and has had two titles and two AS appearances since he was traded to the Lakers.

All of Boston’s big 3 put up lower stats in 2007-08 than they had done the previous year yet the combination worked and they helped the team to win the title.

Bosh will get shots at Miami as LeBron will merit a double team and if LeBron is the ball carrier then how to you match that up, Bosh can play inside or outside and I see him getting 21 to 22pg and 10 to 11rpg.
