The Chicago Bulls’ ideal lineup has only played about 9 games together, Boozer out early in the season and now Noah.  They are 2.5 games back from 1st place in the Eastern Conference.

My question, when Noah comes back after the break, will they make a run at the #1 seed in the East?  Would they have the #1 seed in the East had they not dealt with injuries at the beginning of the season?  What are your expectations ChiTown come playoff time?  1st, 2nd round exits?  Or could they possibly make the Eastern Conf Finals and maybe even the NBA Finals?

Clap, clap, clap… Standing ovation for Derrick Rose. He’s the MVP.

You’d have to think that once Noah returns, they’ll make a run at the top seed. IF not for the injuries, I see no reason to think they wouldn’t have the best record in the East right now.

    These Bulls are dangerous.

They defend well in transition and in the half-court… At times they can just lock you down. Once Noah returns, they’ll be an even better defensive team. They have a reliable 20 point low post presence in Boozer and a serious closer in Rose. And Deng is playing his best basketball in years and at BOTH ends of the floor. This team is scary and it’s a no brainer to predict them making it to the second round.

Can they beat Boston or Miami? I don’t know… Boston probably has too much size, but maybe they could beat Miami. I doubt it, but there’s a chance.

I actually believe they can beat an injured Boston Celtic team.  By that, I mean no Jermaine, Shaquille O’Neal, and maybe one injured wing player (i.e. Von Wafer, Delonte West, Nate Robinson, Marquis Daniels).  That said, I do not wish any player gets injured whatsoever.

The Celtics just have too much depth to lose the a team like the Bulls.  If the Bulls can somehow get their hands on a guy who can create for himself like J.R. Smith, O.J. Mayo, or Richard Hamilton, I don’t see why they can’t beat the Celtics in a 7 game series.

I am a Bulls fan through and through, however I think they settle for a #2 or #3 seed. They just won’t have enough time to really gel as a team to have the kind of record to be a #1 seed.

I agree they are extremely dangerous, and I think they will be a very dangerous team come playoff time; I just think they will need some time to put all the pieces together.

As has been said in many threads, I really hope they can upgrade at 2 guard. Watching Keith Bogans play is abysmal.

I dont see how Noah and Boozer playing majority of the games this season isnt worth 3 more wins…so i would say yea they would be number 1.

In my opinion, a true sleeper team and a team a step ahead of orlando.

Im guessing there isnt a team in the league that beat Boston, Orlando, Miami, Dallas, and the Lakers the last time they played all of those teams

I think this Chicago team can beat everyone but the Lakers. Also Boozer will have alot of trouble gaurding Gasol, Garnett, Bosh, Stoudemire, Brand, which could be teams they come across. If they stay healthy they have just as good of a chance to advance to the finals as Miami and Boston.
