RUDEBOY_ParticipantYeah..The Grizzlies Director of player Personel Tony Barone sr. was raving about how high his basketball IQ is..The Grizzlies were surprised how good a ball handler he is for a big man..But they also said they’d love to see him become more physical..I heard someone compare him to a young Pau Gasol…

eprizzle14ParticipantHe’s sick. If a team took him in the first round, I would’nt disagree with the pick. He’s big, mobile, and most importantly skilled. I wouldnt be shocked if Richards produces a career better then guys that will be draft ahead of him. Whoever grabs him will be happy.
other guys I like
Paul George- nice looking career ahead of this guy.
Babbit- Extremely skilled, coordinated and lengthy. Will definatly have a better career then Morrison, Luke Jackson, Joel Alexander and the other american white guys who proved they were not worthy of a lottery selection.
Late sleepers:
Charles Garcia- I havent seen much footage of this guy, (show if you got some) but from the little I have seen looks nice for a 2nd round prospect. I believe he lead NCAA in scoring, or he was close. 6’10 and mobile, but not a great shooterLazar Hayward. He can play the 3, and shoot the 3. Jared Dudley is my comparison for him but he may be even better.

khaled_a_dParticipantWell,this was a great mix,if he is really that good he will be a steal
but in youtube mix there is always a possibility that those are the mix of all the good plays he made in his career0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/07/2010 - 10:40pm #328772
ilike.panochasParticipantCould be a left handed Rasheed Wallace. 6’11 with top notch athleticism, to go along with inside/outside game, and can even knock down 3 pointers.

B-ball fanParticipantHe was really physically dominant over the competition, longer and more athletic. Those post moves and face up moves won’t look as good in the NBA. He looks pretty skilled, though. I wonder how well he shoots the ball, what kind of % from beyond the arc? He could have a good mid range jumper in the NBA.

WizardofOzParticipantLegitimate size, good athleticism and moves fluidly. Nice stroke too! Hope dude gets drafted by a team like the Spurs – they’ve got a good D-league outfit, he could develop really well given he’s only 19. Joel Freeland was in a similar situation with arguably a touch less skill, so I reckon Richards will get drafted.

bdoody42ParticipantSpeaking of Joel Freeland I saw him play against FC Barcelona in Spnaish Playoffs. I live in Barcelona currently. Freeland had his way down low with all the Barcelona big men. He looked like someone who could come in and play a few minutes in NBA. he had solid back to the basket game and knows how use his body.

wesleymatthews23ParticipantI think he is more like an Arvidas Sabonis. He was big too and had a great handle as well as an outside shot and could even play some defense. I see him going late first, maybe mid second. But I think he is staying overseas instead of coming over right away. Still has a lot to polish and work on but excellent prospect for the future.

ReezyFbabyParticipantThis dude is not a first round pick dont let a couple highlights fool you on a bunch of soft european players who cant keep up with him. Ryan Richards isnt polished at all he has alot of raw talent but really doesnt understand the game. i see him being a role player for San Antonio learning behind one of the greats Tim Duncan.
