The logos look good and will be a nice merchandise moneyspinner for Charlotte. It would be cooliif for the first home game when they unveil the floor logo they get a few of the former Hornets stars and cult heroes back. I can already imagine the great photo of someone Muggsy Bogues stood next to the Mascot.

Everything about the Bobcats just had to go. Never liked the mascot name "Bobcats" it sounded too much like a high school mascot name. The logo actually looks pretty cool if you ask me, can’t wait to see the uniforms. I hope the primarly color of the road jerseys is teal.

Bobcats actulally made me think about Bubsy.

The Bobcats certainly look better this season under Coach Clifford and with Al Jefferson giving them perhaps their first ever significant front court scoring presence in the franchise history added to the continued development of Kemba Walker, the steady performances of Gerald Henderson. Add in the upside to hopefully come from MKG and hopefully Zeller and Biyombo, the Bobcats future looks a lot better than it has for several years.
If they can get anything in the 35 to 40 wins region this season it will be a significant improvement and a play off birth they currently hold could be turned into a 7th or 8th seeding at the season’s end. The flipside is that they will likely lose to say the Heat or Pacers in the first round and could have their draft pick go to Chicago if it falls outside the top 10. But they have picks due from Portland and perhaps the Pistons next summer so they will still have nice 2014 draft options and the extra play off revenue is always a big boost to smaller market teams like the Bobcats.
MJ seems to be making better moves as an owner recently perhaps mainly by finally getting the coaching position sorted and allowing Rod Higgins and Rick Cho to run the recruitment and drafting process. The best thing that MJ can do for the team is just be MJ, leave the decisions to the guys he pays to do it but still maybe just pop his head round the locker room door and say "Well done guys when they win" or have a quiet word if he notices little things.
