For all of you who don’t know Hofstra Junior Guard Charles Jenkins is legit. He’s 6-3 220 and in his first two years he was CAA Rookie of the year, and the only sophomore to make all CAA First team. Also he has played well against both Kansas and UConn this year. I am not saying he’s the greatest ever, but he could be a first round pick in 2011.

Haha thats so funny you brought this kid up….I was at a Hofstra game earlier this year and let me tell you, Jenkins a definite Pro….He has an NBA ready body, he is vastly improving his court vision and is a very solid jump shooter….I know the asst. coach of Hofstra and he always speaks of how much of a leader Jenkins is and how much heart he has…If you dont know about this guy check him out, he reminds me of Tyrek Evans, a little smaller but with a better jumpshot….Great job bringing his name

I watched the Kansas game, he was about the only bright spot for them in that game. He is not only a scorer, but has good selection on his shots and a solid jump shot. I think he has a great shot at being drafted, but I think he is more of a mid second round pick.

first say I am surprised I got responses about Jenkins. Also, I am more surprised people know about him and agree with me. I am a student right now at Hofstra and go to as many games as possible b/c he is a real treat to watch. I am glad that Tom Pecora has Hofstra playing a tougher schedule, and to see Jenkins thrive against top teams is great. I really believe if he gets Hofstra into the tourney and they win a game he will become a more household name. No doubt in my mind he is a first round pick in the 2011 draft. He is a first round talent is what I mean whether or not he is taken in the first round is a great move by any GM. He dropped 21 his last game.

This guy is DIRTY. I watched him against Connecticut and he just completly torched them. Keep an eye out for the CAA, this confrence has proven to be dangerous in the tournament year after year. All of the tough VCU teams and lets not forget the George Mason team getting to the final four. That was a sad day for me as a UCONN fan when they beat us in the elite eight. This confrence should always be one to look out for. Jenkins has an NBA type body and he can score and create plays for his teammates. He’s one of those players that can just take over a game.

Yeah that UConn game was on TV, and I was going nuts thinking we had a shot. Though they lost, I was proud of what I saw. Also, Jenkins supporting cast is not as good as a couple other teams in the CAA. No disrespect to his supporting cast b/c they play well it’s more like we need another guy on the bench or a big man to be THE BEST team in the CAA.
