ZEOParticipantwhats the chances my bobcats could get that 2nd overall draft pick from the T’wolves and draft Enes Kanter?

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantYeah, the Cats have no trade assets besides Tyrus Thomas and Gerald Henderson. So unless they give up both of them and their 9th pick, it’s not very likely.

aamir543ParticipantWell after doing the math, they have a chance to offer a fair deal. With that being said, from all the people I have talked to around the league, I have not heard any rumor that would imply the two parties have been talking about the second pick. But dont worry, I really want the Warriors to trade up to the 2 and get Kanter also, but it probably wont happen.

mrhancocParticipantIf the Bobcats some how got the 2nd pick and draft Kanter, I would probably go totally "ham" on Jordan and his staff, take Brandon Knight! He’s really what the Bobcats would need out of this draft to get this going, I like Williams but he’s not able to control/manage the ball/game like Knight and we all know that Kryie will be in Cleveland. Knight can dish the ball to open players to help them find their shot as well as put a team on his back, atleast the Bobcats wouldn’t be looking for a franchise PG b/c Knight would be their guy and a great start to rebooting this Bobcats team.

PulseGlazerParticipantIf I’m the Wolves, I’d do it for next year’s #1 from th e Cats and another piece like Henderson. Wolves don’t have a pick, it’s a deeper draft next year, and then they’d only have one rookie this year, while the Bobcats get help immediately. Not like the Cats are going to be good next year. Should be a great pick.

HitsterParticipantThe Bobcats could perhaps look to trade up but 9th and 19th pick would perhaps get them up to where Toronto draft in 5th place. I don’t see the T-Wolves doing any deal or Utah or Cleveland doing any deal also as their own draft picks are perhaps better.
If the Bobcats did take on more salary then there might be a move up as Diaw’s expiring 2012 deal might interest a few teams.

PulseGlazerParticipantEvery team has expirings now. Unless the Cats want to take back a Rashard Lewis or Gil Arenas, it isn’t that valuable.

HitsterParticipantIt depends who teams might want to shift salarywise, often it might be a good player but his contract is long or a bit too generous and new Coaches want their own roster etc.

PulseGlazerParticipantNot in the much rumored amnesty clause comes into play.
