BrentSuriaga01ParticipantBoth teams have a reciprocal need. The one needs a veteran and the other needs a young player for its rebuilding process. It goes like these:
Celtics Get – Wesley Johnson, Nikola Pekovic and Twolves 2nd round pick
Twolves Get – Ray Allen and Celtics 2nd round pick
Celtics – This is a trade that would really bring them to a rebuilding process. They get a 24 year old shooting guard, a pretty decent center and a second round pick which is somewhere between pick no. 31-45. Johnson could give them more athleticism on the backcourt and also he can knock down 3 pt shots.
TWolves – They get a player that they desperately need. A shooting guard which is their weakness and most importantly a true leader which has championship experience who could provide mentorship to Rubio, Love and the other young guns.

HitsterParticipantRay Allen would swiftly retire if he was sent to the T-Wolves and then no doubt come out of retirement once his contract ended.

JunkYardDogParticipantWes johnson is a big disappointment…. the celtics won’t let ray allen (their most productive player) go for johnson and steal foul prone pekovic.
Maybe they could be more interested in beasley as they were reported to be in cousins.

darkman97ParticipantEven though he is playing awful, I am not ready to give up on Johnson. Especially for someone that will play only one or two more years. Wolves will be fine, they just need a couple years to mature and play together.

NbanflguyParticipantI am starting to think trade ideas need to be banned on this site….

apb540ParticipantCan I be the first to point out that Nikola Pekovic is not in any way shape or form a decent center

river09ParticipantPekovic is quite literally one of the most uncoordinated/clueless player in the league.. He does consistently make layups sometimes though when he’s not mugging opposing players…

F_DA_POParticipantthis is obviously a horrible trade, but why the hell would Ray Allen retire? The TWolves would be better than the Celtics if they had Ray Allen. Rubio, Ray Allen, Beasley/Dwill, Love. That’s a sick core.

Scottoant93ParticipantAllen has too much class to retire because of a trade to the twolves. He might not be estatic but he wouldnt retire plus im sure celtics would want more then johnson and whoever the other guy is

NbanflguyParticipant"Pekovic is quite literally one of the most uncoordinated/clueless player in the league"
This is so true. He looks so akward on the court, but he always makes these random, weird, akward looking layups.
