The celtics have all these big men just in case KG go down again but they really need a SF. So they really need to push for Daniels

Yea true Shelden never had good numbers but this is a great fit for both him and the C’s cuz their not depending on him…
All he has to do is rebound and play good defensive when he’s in the game

You can never have too many big men. Shelden will probably not get anymore than a few minutes a game if at all. I’m looking for his time to be sporadic and only pick up if there are injuries or a guy needs to rest. If you are going to have a 12th man, at least have one that can play a little bit.

As for Daniels, they will still get him. He had already agreed to play for the bi-annual exception. Supposedly, the Celtics are trying to work a sign and trade to get him more money, but they don’t have anything that the Pacers probably want or need and I doubt the C’s are working too hard to get the deal done if they know he is willing to come there for less. The move that everyone needs to watch out for is when they decide to use Scalibrine’s and/or Tony Allen’s contract.

Doubledribbler… I agree with you 100%. A team can never have too many big men.
