Brandon Roy- No –I would have to say yes in regards to just ppg, but I definitely believe that he can turn into a better all around player: scoring efficiency, rebounds, defense.

    Amar’e Stoudemire- Yes

    Dwyane Wade- Yes

Danny Granger- No-I think that his stats are going to improve this year after finally getting a pass-first PG in Collison. He will now be getting more open looks.

Carmelo Anthony- No-One of the areas in Anthony’s game that I can see him improving is his rebounds. He is a big and powerful SF, but doesnt try hard enough to get in the paint and get boards.

Josh Smith- No-I see Smith improving his offensive repoitire. If he establishes a consistent jumpshot, it will bring a new aspect to his game

Al Jefferson- No-With Deron Williams constantly getting double teamed, Jefferson’s presence in the paint is going to be as important as ever. The one hugely underated piece of Jefferson’s game is his great offensive skillset around the basket.

    Ander Igoudala- Yes

I agree with them all except for Jefferson hes only 25 and should improve with the talent around him and not being forced to play center all the time

Great topic but these guys are too you for you to declare that any of them have hit their ceiling. Prime is around 30.

I feel players hit their primes at diffrent stages some players take the league by storm and flame out by time they reach 30 and other players excel after they pass 30 years old… I feel the idea of a player reaching his prime at 30 should be redefined, I think it has more to do with how long a player has been in the league and if that player has steadliy improved accross the board (ppg, reb, efficency, fundamentals, etc…)

I feel a player like Melo for example, has peaked because I dont see him just becoming a better rebounder, because rebounding is about desire and I dont feel Melo is that type of player… Melo could be more efficent and he could be a better defender, but I feel that he is what he is at this stage of his career (elite scorer, average defender, average rebounder, average passer)…

Roy, STAT, Jefferson, Igoudala, Granger, Wade and Josh Smith have all reached their prime, I dont see any of the players becoming dramatically better players.. I feel the numbers the put up NOW will be the same numbers they will be putting up in 5 years…
