Tight ButtholeParticipantDrafted Waiters and traded for Zeller. While its of course way too early to know how well this draft will play out, I cant help but sit here and look at all the players they could have had.
#4: Barnes/Robinson/Drummond
#24: PJII/Moultrie/Cunningham
#33 & #34: D.Lamb, Q.Miller, Barton, Green
Is it just me, or does it seem like they could have filled 4 holes with some real talented players, either on proven talent or potential to a roster that only has 6 players under contract next season, with 3 of those players being an option on Boobie Gibson, Omri Casspi, and Luke Walton.
To me, Cleveland really dropped the ball in this draft and will again have a revolving door of D-League players on their roster.

220ParticipantYeah I agree, I was surprised how much they gave up for Tyler Zeller considering they currently have Varejao and Tristan Thompson up front. The Cavs could’ve added a lot more talent keeping those picks. If Zeller turns into a great pro it should be worth it, but if not ouch.

kzekeParticipantBeing a Cavs fan I am sooooooo pissed right now!!! We could have came away from this draft with Barnes, PJIII, Qunicy Miller, and Deron Lamb. Instead we get an undersized 2 who couldn’t even start for his college team and a center who plays no D. No wonder Lebron wanted out….

Cavaliers420ParticipantI honestly have no excuse for my Cavaliers. Sadly, it seems the Cleveland curse is still alive and kickin.

F_Sin such a deep draft, cavs gave up so0O much, IT’S RIDICULOUS. . if they wanted a good center why didn’t they grab drummond with the first pick?
drummond >> zeller
pj3, tony wroten, quincy miller >>>>>>> dion waiters
^ that lineup right there can get seriously nasty

slash787ParticipantDon’t worry Dan Gilbert will blame this draft on LeBron. They strike gold with Kyrie and proceed to draft a bunch of garbage to surround him with. But it’s LeBron’s fault.

TyroberParticipantIf they were going to reach for Waiters then they should have traded for Terrence Jones instead of Zeller. I really wish they would have just picked Barnes. Kyrie and Harrison being best friends would have been awesome. Cavs really disappointed me tonight.
