pokieParticipantMario Chalmers, Norris Cole, and Kurt Hinrich have been mentioned as the front runners to replace the departed Mo Williams because they are all still available unrestricted free agents. Ditto, Andre Miller. Sadly, Jared Cunningham, who played for the Cavs last year, has already signed to play in China. Below is a list of players who I think teams would part with in the right deal. I mean, come on, does Cleveland even need Draft Picks at this point?
Jameer Nelson-Denver
Randy Foye-Brooklyn
Shelvin Mack-Utah
Ramon Sessions-Charlotte
Tyus Jones-Minnesota
Ther are also a few players who are in camps right now who will probably not stick for various reasons.
Briante Weber
Nate Wolters
Kendall Marshall
Ray McCallum
I thought Quinn Cook would have also been a nice option as wll but he recently signed with the Pelicans to help out in the absence of Jrue Holiday.

OhCanada-ParticipantDidn’t their point gaurd hit the Championship winning three pointer and win a gold medal this year. Other than Kyrie they do have rookie Kay Felder who looks promising. Irving is a bit injury prone but it shouldn’t take much effort to sign a guy like Chalmers who has previously won with LBJ.

MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantI think they could take a look at Gary Neal..Or Even Kirk Hinrich he has a good outside shot n his tough, he’d fit

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantAny of the guys mentioned above would probably do. It’s not like they are going to need whoever they sign to play big mins. or anything. It’s more just insurance in case kyrie gets hurt. Chalmers has big game experience and would seem like a natural fit provided he is fully recovered. I think Felder will actually work his way into the rotation at some point as well. The one thing they will miss was Delly’s size and his ability to guard SGs which allowed them to play him together with Irving for stretches but overall this shouldn’t be a huge problem provided Irving stays healthy.

Robb_CParticipantNate Wolters would be worth a look

SubZeroParticipantI’ve always been a fan of Nate Wolters and wanted him to find his place. Ditto with Ray McCallum, I think they’d both be more than worth a shot

Robb_CParticipantDenver just signed Nate, September 15th. Good move by Tim Connelly and the Nuggets.. Really like the way Denver is setting up the roster.. Great blend of talent with a international flair reminds me of what the Spurs were doing.. Denver will compete this year.

JJ_PRParticipantI would sign Kirk Hinrich out if those three. Chalmers is recovering from a torn ACL and Cole isn’t that big of a threat from outside the arc.

binetParticipantHinrich has been atrocious his last 2 seasons, we can assume he is already too old for the NBA, and it’s probably getting worse this year.
Cole is not an elite player, but at least his age is correct and he already played with LeBron with success in Miami.
There is still the possibility to try something more intriguing like recruiting an euro star like Teodosic or something, or wait and see if someone good does not make a roster (not likely, but loaded teams like Boston, Spurs could cut interesting talent like Demetrius Jackson, Dejounte Murray)…

ChoppyParticipantTeodosic is the best player outside of the NBA. Controls a game beautifully. Lacks a bit of consistency on his outside shot. Heck, if Rubio is playing in the NBA, Teodosic could.
