I live in Cleveland pay close attention to media. Based on all that I’ve read, this is what they are looking to do:

    • Draft Kyrie Irving with the No. 1 overall selection
    • Absorb Rip Hamilton’s contract and give Detroit the $14 million trade exception in exchange for the No. 8 overall selection
    • Trade the No. 4 and No. 8 overall selection to Minnesota for the No. 2 overall selection, and use it to draft Derrick Williams
    • Buy out Rip Hamilton’s contract
    • Buy a pick in the early 20s to select MarShon Brooks
    • Take a flier on Greg Oden
    • Find out whether or not Derrick Williams can play the 3. If he can, keep JJ Hickson. If not, move Hickson (who has trade value after averaging 17 and 11 in the second half of the season, albeit in perpetual garbage time).
    • This "lineup of the future" would go Irving-Brooks-Williams-Hickson-Oden.

Personally, I don’t think Oden is going to give them anything, and I’m a little skeptical that they’ll be able to secure the No. 2 pick from Minnesota, but if they can, great. I do think Williams can play the 3; he reminds me of a Danny Granger but a little bulkier.

I think the Irving-Brooks-Williams trio would work because their skill sets all complement each other really well, but the question is whether or not they manage to put them together.

The Blazers arent going to let Oden go. They will offer him his qualifying offer. He is obtainable but your going to have to offer funny money for a guy that has played in 25% of his games. The Cavs want to take on Rips contract and buy him out, but for some reason Detroit is saying they want more. They save 25 million and giving up the 8th pick for that seems like a good deal for them. Who can the Pistons get that could really make them better anyway at #8? The future of the Cavs sure does look a lot better than it did a year ago

That would be an amazing offseason for the Cavs because they would have talent at every position.  They should be trying something similar to this plan though the odds of them actually pulling this off would be low.
