jjonzParticipantIf he is traded to one of those teams can he instantly make either one of those teams an 6th-8th seed?
And what would Spurs do with the 5th or 7th picks in the Lotto?
Your thoughts Gents

JordanC20ParticipantI believe he would be much more beneficial to Toronto than the Kings he could possibly get them the 7th or 8th seed…He knows how to win.
Not quite sure what the Spurs would be looking for but they usually make smart decisions.

HobbyOGParticipantNot the Kings because they play in the West. Anything can happen in the East with those last two spots..

JunkYardDogParticipantI can’t imagine that… TP for a top 10 draft pick in this draft…
I highly doubt the spurs will "sell " parker (former finals’ mvp !!! who knows perfectly the popp’ / spurs system) for a not as valuable pick : at 5 or 7 vesely valanciunas… WHO ???

MJBrownParticipantThe raptors won 22 games this past year. It takes approx 40 wins to make the playoffs in the east. For Tony Parker to help the raptors make the playoff, you’re estimating he’s worth somewhere between 15-20 more wins at the starting PG position than Jose. I don’t think anyone in Toronto believes that Jose is the guy to lead us to the playoffs, but on #’s alone, its gonna take more than Tony Parker to get us there. I say we hold onto Demar and Ed Davis. and gut the team from there

PulseGlazerParticipantI think he would be helpful for Tyreke and Cousins – a finals MVP and All Star they’d have to respect. Playoffs? Not for a year or two, but with the talent those two have… not far off, either.

NiKoLa92ParticipantWhat about a Calderon + Bargnani + Kleiza + Pick#5 vs TP + RJ + Neal + pick #29 trade ? Then Spurs select Vesely with pick #5
Spurs roster (going International) :
Calderon – Hill
Ginobili – J.Anderson
Vesely – Kleiza
Bargnani – Blair
Duncan – Splitter

PulseGlazerParticipantAdding in bargs wouldn’t be neccessary. The Spurs would very likely do that in a second… though I see them in more on Kawhi or Jonas than Jan.

NiKoLa92ParticipantAccording to Marc Stein,as the Spurs explore trade possibilities involving Tony Parker, the team is believed to be hoping to unload the contract of Richard Jefferson in the process. Jefferson was re-signed by the Spurs last offseason. The Raptors and Kings are believed to be possible landing spots for Parker.
According to Johnathan Givony, the Spurs are attempting to move up into the lottery by trading Tony Parker. If they are successful and complete a trade with the Kings, for example, they would select Jonas Valanciunas with the seventh overall pick, according to a report from Draft Express.
Replace Vesely by Jonas in my trade and I’m good

BasketBalAllanParticipantI would love to see the Kings land Parker and/or Jefferson as long as they do not have to give up Tyreke, Cousins, Thornton, or multiple 1st round picks.
Beno, Casspi, Whiteside, 7th pick for Parker and Jefferson?

OhCanada-ParticipantI dont see tht as a good fit for the Raptors. It screams out "forced trade" to me for both sides. Maybe trading for a guy like Felton seems like a better fit to me. Parkers style just doesnt seem to contrast the Raps game.
