RUDEBOY_ParticipantWhile watching The Ohio Valley Conference Tourney the past few days ,i came away very impressed with 6’2 point guard Cam Payne…I found it very interesting that he havent recieved much pub.. Not even on this site ,where posters have a history of bringing up under the radar players…
Payne averaged 20pts/3.3rbs/5.8assts/2stls and was rewarded by being named Conference POY..Payne scored in double figures in all but 1 of their games…
I haven’t seen enough of him nor seen him play against top level competition to comment on where he would go if he came out….The Big Dance would’ve given him a chance to improve his draft stock if he had carried his team deep into the tourney…But his Murray State team lost their chance of an automatic bid yesterday when they lost to Belmont..And despite their 25-7 record their chances of making the NCAA Tourney are slim..Because the only NCAA tournament caliber team they played outside of their conference was Xavier and they lost that game by 27 points..

RUDEBOY_Participanti hate that murray state didnt make it to ny..because really i enjoyed watching him play…i’m convinced now he’s a 1st round pick…
