OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantThat’s a great deal. Brewer and Korver can compliment each other well. Also, Brewer will receive lot of alley-oops from Derrick Rose.

JNixonParticipantThe Bulls have been making power moves! Gives them an athletic perimeter defender who is a better fit than J.J. Redick would’ve been, considering the Korver signing.

cryan03Participantcall me crazy but I think they may have a shot to win the East this year barring any major injuries. I think the Boozer signing was great and he will compliment Noah well. I also like Brewer and Korver signings as it gives them the outside shooting and perimter defender that they needed. They might be the most balanced team in the East except for maybe Boston.

Demarcus OnealParticipantThe Bulls have built a solid balanced team attack such with a strong young nucleus of Rose Brewer Deng Korver a veteran PF in Boozer and a growing force in the paint in Noah

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI dont think they can start him.. If they do, they would have the worst perimeter shooting starting lineup in the league… I think he is the perfect 6th man though… He can play the SF/SG positions and he can even do a little ball handling to take some pressure off rose.. They need to start Korver to spread the floor for Rose and Deng..
Rose
Korver
Deng
Boozer
NoahGibson
BrewerSounds like a great top 7 and they could be the best team in the East.. But, they could just as easily be the 4th or 5th best team in the East..

LawDeeZeeParticipantrumor has it that d rose is coming into this season with a legit 3 point shot too … korver is good to spread the floor but there’ll definately be match-ups where they’ll need brewer’s defensive ability — this provides them with good versatility

ChrischiParticipanthuge pick up
that’s exactly what they needed

Russell0WestbrookParticipantThe Bulls have been making great moves all offseason I may get killed for saying this but they have had the best offseason to me. They have pick up players that will fit with each other and have a total team not just 3 guys and ten others player throw together. Im saying it now Rose will finish in the top 5 for MVP this year

mrknowitall313Participantlol @ might win the east. i like their moves but they are still behind the heat and the magic. i got them third though. and im laughing at boston being balanced. how are they balanced? they have one scoring threat in pierce. ray is done. kg is done. rondo is a great young pg but not really a scorer and they bench sucks!!

Russell0WestbrookParticipant“C’Mon Son get off that bullshyt” you hating on a team thats been to the finals 2 out of 3 years together and has on lost one series with their starting lineup give them some credit

JoeWolf1I love it, he was at the top of my wishlist for a guard for them to sign. Im glad they got Brewer and not Reddick.

OhCanada-ParticipantDeng
Korver
Brewer
JohnsonThat gives them 1 perimter shooters (Redick, and Hinrich), 2 athletic stoppers (Ronnie Brwer and James Johnson), and 1 jack of all trades master of none Luol Deng on the wing. Chicago may have the 2nd best wing combonation in the league. Thet matchup well with Miami’s Lebron, Wade, and Miller, just because they have qauntity and qaulity and can rotate 5 players to help stop the Miami stars.
Chicogo’s team really looks built to shutdown the Miami team and with Chicago the team who had the best chance other than Miami to aqcuire the Big 3, we may see quite the rivalry and somewhat of a Kobe and Philly, Lebron Ohio, Wade Chicago type situation.
HOW THEY MATCHUP
Gibson>Varnardo
Asik=Ilgauskas
-I’d say its a tie because of Asik’s inexperience and Igauskas’s age.Noah>Haslem
-Noah has a slight advantage over Haslem by being a bit more talented while playing similar roles .Boozer<Bosh
-Bosh is longer and taller which is the exact thing Boozer hates.Korver, Miller, Deng, JohnsonChalmers
gi-Gves Chicago a huge boost by being much much more dominant over Chalmers. Although the problem is Wade will most likely gaurd Rose and Chalmers will gaurd the SG who Wade is matched up with…It should be interesting to see how Miami counters and how this Free Agency batle pans out.

ScareCrowsRevengeParticipantTHEY STILL NEED TMAC…then have Brewer and Korver on the bench with Gibson…
Rose-McGrady-Deng-Boozer-Noah-Brewer-Gibson and Korver…that’s a solid 8man rotation…

butidonthavemoneyThe Chicago Jazz… I mean Bulls, are now offically in my top 5 favorite teams.

ScareCrowsRevengeParticipantdoes he sign here or not…they need a creator…
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/16/2010 - 2:01pm #355603
bullsfan121212i’m pretty sure rose is a better creator than tmac and its not even close. rose should take the last shot everygame or boozer possibly.
Rose john lucas lll could be third or second pg playing great somebody else
Korver brewer shooter
Deng brewer shooter
boozer gibson noah
noah asik could be third or second center somebody elserose will develop a three his midrange is wet. deng shot 37% from downtown last year. he actually shoots a high percentage just isn’t a volume shooter. i agree that deng and brewer dont give much to kick it out too tho. i think they should trade james johnson now for somebody who can shoot. possibly a back up center or pg and just pick up a wing shooter. i think they need a back up pg, center, and wing player after they get rid of johson.
they have about 5-7 mil to spend i think or those positions and a extra 1.5ish i think if johson goes too

marcusfizer21ParticipantJoin the wagon mr.butidonthavefcknmoney… I like the Bulls now… I’m excited to have Brewer in our team… I think he and Derrick can compliment each other well..

IndianaBasketballParticipantI love the Brewer pickup.
I hope he’s working on his jumpshot though. I keep getting flashbacks of the way Kobe defended him in the 2009 NBA Playoffs. He has to be respectable or a player like LeBron will be able to roam off of him.

stanford hoopsHow is Boston done mr knowitall? You obviously need to change you’re name if you think that
As far as someone saying korver should start, you rather have a shooter who will give up 20plus every night or someone who can’t shoot well but playa good defense and cam score?

bullsfan121212can get baskets by freeing up driving lanes. doesn’t show up on a stat sheet

bigblackNbeautifulParticipantDamn man First booz, then korver, then wes, then brewer. My jazz are on the move. and we are still only a pretender in the west. not good enough to contend realistically not bad enough to throw in the towel and rebuild. KOC get us out of this funk!
