I think the Bucks’ supposed infatuation with Exum is a smokescreen… No doubt they are taking Wiggins or Parker in my eyes!

Do you all agree, or do you really think the Bucks would/should draft Exum over Wiggins and/or Parker?

It wouldn’t shock me if they took him, bad organzations make bad decesions. I don’t know too much about this kid or if he’s battle tested playing ball down under. Would love to see or hear how he does one on one against guys like Marcus Smart  and other guards in this draft.

I don’t know if I’m supposed to say this or not but the other site has a video of him playing against Smart and Payton.

How can you call the Bucks a bad organization? They just changed ownership, what do we know?

what the Bucks gain by trumpeting Exum, unless they really want whoever they think Cleveland wants.

Exum will go after the Big Trio, from 4 to 10

Bucks wiil try to add another cornerstone to their future squad, Wigg, Park and Embiid are CAN’T PASS players…

I could see the Bucks trading down to get Exum and other assets because I honestly dont see other team taking Exum as high as #2.

I agree, but i also didn’t see the whole Bennett to Clevland at number 1.  Maybe there’s a legit reason thier lottery bound every year.  With that being said, I wouldn’t be too shocked if someone took exum early.  Sarcasm Alert: Who knows Daniel Synder may draft him number 1 (lol-i hope not)

It doesn’t seem as if there is much incentive for Milwaukee to be "smokescreening" in this draft. Regardless of who goes first, they will be getting a top prospect who fits their team needs and is arguably best player available. Now, if they really are stuck between Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, and Exum, trading down to Philadelphia or Orlando may make sense; they just pick which ever player is left standing while picking up an extra asset or two during the process.

Last years draft definitely provided much more incentive to "smokescreen" picks. If the Cavaliers were to say they wanted Nerlens Noel with their number 1 pick, a team that was potentially desperate for him could have blown them away with an offer while still allowing Cleveland to move down and select who they wanted originally. Obviously, this did not happen, but it is just an example of why smokescreening was heavily used last year. There are no secrets who wants who this year in the top 4.

Maybe the top 3 or 4 teams should just all get on a conference call and agree on who they each want most lol. It would probably save them a lot of headaches and each team would end up happy with their pick and not have to forfeit assets to move up.

They’re baiting Cleveland into trading down with Philly.  After all if Parker and Exum are at the top of Milwaukee’s board then the Cavaliers don’t have to worry about not getting Embiid at #3.

Those three teams should get on a conference call and tell each other exact what you wrote haha. If Philadelphia wants to ensure they get Wiggins, Milwaukee and Cleveland say give Cleveland Thad Young as well. Milwaukee and Cleveland can then just trade spots so Cleveland can take Embiid at 2 and Parker is left at three for the Bucks. No chance they do that but everyone wins lol.

Be sure that Utah is included.  They want to get into the top 3 to land Parker – Burks may be included

I think Milwaukee’s interest in Exum is legit. He’s exactly the type of player that John Hammond loves. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hammond has Exum as the #2 prospect in the draft.

Having said that, Hammond isn’t making the draft choice. The new owners have already said that Hammond will report to them and then they will tell him who they would like us to draft with our first pick. The only way we take Exum is if he falls to 5 and we trade down with Utah in a 3 team trade that also brings us another lottery pick. Otherwise, I think the owners will pick Wiggins/Jabari, try to turn Knight/Larry/Henson into another top 10 pick, and call it a day.

I think it is a smokescreen I cannot see the Bucks passing on two out of Parker, Wiggins and Embiid to take Exum. The new owners would know that a potential franchise player for them is a must and if John Hammond does love Exum then I doubt they let him make that pick.

Exum is a great prospect who will likely go 4th in the draft but I cannot see him going at 2. If there was a chance that the Bucks were thinking of Exum then I’m sure Rod Hennigan would be on the phone to them in a shot with 4 and 12 for 2 as he could get a cornerstone for his team in an instant.
