"Would you bulls fans want Brandon Rush from the pacers and what would you give up for him? I think his defense is highly underrated but is a streaky shooter"-bigballinjdg

Brandon Rush won’t be a starter on a good team. I do like how he has added muscle to his frame, he looks to be in the 225lb range.

What do you all think about his chances of getting moved since Indy is letting him rot on the bench?

Taj Gibson for Rush should be fair.  Keith Bogans is not a starter on a good team either but currently he is filling that role.

Does anyone feel as though Rush is better than these wings, that are ahead of him in Indy’s rotation…..Dunleavy, Jones, Posey?

Dunleavy’s hurt, so, at least tonight, took that spot in the lineup for Indiana. Only had nine points but did make the final gamewinning dunk. When he has an aggressive mentality on court he can be a productive player, but when he’s passive and not showing consistent focus and energy, he hurts Indiana on both sides of the ball, which is the main reason his playing time is so inconsistent. I want to see how Brandon does with more playing time, he needs to continue upgrading his ballhandling and improving his mentality and maturity to fulfill his potential, but he’s already at least a good shooting specialist to have on a team, and one who can play acceptable defense, which is a nice bonus.

Rush has little value right now, that the Pacers are better off holding on to him. They could possibly get a 2nd rounder for him.

And for the guy that suggested Taj Gibson for Rush, that would be straight up robbery for the Pacers. Gibson’s defense is so valuable for the Bulls and they need him to compete against Boston’s big men.

Rush is almost a cross between Brewer and Korver.  He’s an athletic wing defender who can hit the 3, but I don’t think he’d be worth more than the late 1st round pick they acquired from Toronto.  He’d certainly be an upgrade from Bogans, but from what I hear the Bulls are really going after Courtney Lee right now.  I like Rush as a 6th man, and fill in starter, but as a Bulls fan I’d prefer Lee.  I hope that deal gets done today.

Apparently the Rockets want size and are pursing Asik in return, which I’m not to thrilled about. Now that Noah is back he is more expendable so it wouldn’t be the end of the world, but they (Houston) are also rumored to be pursing Thabeet from Memphis for Shane Battier.  I hope the deal for lee can get done for a couple draft picks.
