I see both of these players being great point guards in the future , an alot of these teams based on talent not success are pretty good . Many of these lottery teams have great pieces that can lead to many future playoff meetings between the Jennings and Rubio which will be great players on potential playoff teams such as OKC,Washington,Clippers, maybe Memphis,Golden State,Ny,and POSSIBLY the Kings

    what do you think?

If their on teams in the same division like a couple years ago when Marbury and Kidd were across the river from each other but if they get drafted by teams like Sacramento and Milwaukee then their wont be a rivalry

I’m a huge Knicks fan, but I hope you’re kidding. Kidd won something like 28 out of his 30 matchups in that “rivalry.”

      Marbury can’t hold Kidd’s son’s jock!!

I doubt there will ever be a rivalry. The chances of both them turning around two bad teams and making them playoff teams is very slim. Let alone them being drafted by teams in the same conference.

I don’t think so. Unless they get drafted back-to-back or something. Maybe if their teams already have a rivalry.

Their will be a rivalry hyped by media, but it wont last long. If the Carmelo-LeBron rivalry didnt last long, than the Rubio-Jennings rivalry wont either.

one time Steph declared himself the best PG in the league before a game in Jersey, Kidd scored like 30 something points and had a triple double and became 7th all time on the assist list and they blew the Knicks out, they were talking back nd forth on and off the court later i would call that a rivalry

Of course I remember Marbury saying that, but he was laughed at throughout the NBA and it signaled the downfall of his career. Marbury was never in the same league as Kidd and his team hardly ever beat the Nets while he was there.

A rivalry has to be at least somewhat even to be real.

I think the chances of both being really good is too low. Rubio could be a huge bust and never even leave Europe for contract issues
