doubledribblerParticipantI hate basketball shoes for the most part. I do like the pair of Jenning’s shoes on the very bottom though. Coaches always talk about spraining your ankles if you wear running shoes/ tennis shoes, but that’s what I prefer. They are way more comfortable (lighter, more flexible) and I have never had any issues wearing them. If I am correct that is what Steve Nash wears.
As far as paying $90, I know what the going rate is, but it’s still ridiculous. Shoes are usually a combination of a bunch of plastic, rubber and a little bit of a few synthetic materials so they cost hardly anything to make especially when they are popping out of a factory in China. The majority of what you end up paying for the shoe is the name attached to it and the brand. I’ve worn most brands of shoes and the majority of them feel pretty similiar. The one type of shoe that is complete garbage are those Polos. You could wear those comfortably for maybe an hour. Anyways, it’s not like the shoes make you play better. If you give credit to a shoe for how good you are then you really need to step up your game, go outside and spend more time practicing.
