Bryant24ParticipantBrandon Jennings is one of my favorite players this is highlights of him balling this summer. I;m ready for the season to start to see how he has progress. Will be an all star this upcoming season? Do youthink he is going to lead the bucks out of the first round? Will his name be in discussion for Top 10 point guard in the nba?

Mr. 19134ParticipantShould of been a top 5 pick and I said that during the draft because he has been doing this way too long and people are finally noticing…He should of been picked by New York at the latest and he would of won ROY playing for D’Antoni

the I in winParticipantAt the time nobody in their right mind would’ve taken him top 5. He had to many question marks.

BasterdInABasketParticipantI think his points and assists will stay pretty close to the same as last year but i think hell be a lot more efficient. He’ll have salmons a full year, hopefully a healthy Bogut and added a couple nice scorers- Maggette and CDR. So he has a lot more talent to distribute to and wont have to force up as many shots like last year. Hes still a couple years away from being allstar and being able to carry a team but I dont see a sophomore slump like some are calling for.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI think his field-goal percentage went down last year because he was playing an early-season style (lots of jumpers) with late-season legs. The only way he’s gonna get his field-goal percentage up — and make it stay there — is if he takes it to the hoop more often.

sc0rebuckets11Participantit to the basket, but draw more fouls. he shot a really good % at the line last yr, and he’s way too quick to not get anywhere he wants.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantTrue, and that would involve taking more hits, which would probably result in more injuries. Then again, that’s the price you pay for drawing fouls. Even Dwyane Wade gets banged up a lot, and he’s one of the strongest guards in the NBA. It’s all on Jennings.

NJHooper95ParticipantI think Jennings will have a great chance to solidify himself as a top 10 pg. His assist should increase and i think he will be more efficient with cast he has surrounding him. He has a outside chance to be an all-star in the east if he bring it and Milwaukee gets off to a good start. No point guard in the east has ran away with best point guard title in the east. You can argue Rose and Rondo, but after that anyone can make noise( Harris, Wall, Holiday, Nelson). So lets say rose and rondo are shoe ins then a third pg in the all-star game could be Jennings. He is definitely one of the most exciting players in the league to watch.

gainsey15ParticipantI see his shooting percentage going up this season as well as assist. Better defense with another year of Scott Skiles coaching him, and just an all around better feel for the PG position.

dolla130Participantif he adds about 10 pounds and becomes able to take people left and right and finish with both hands the sky is the limit because IMO he is the best PG to come out in outta both the 2009 and 2010 class

Mr. 19134Participantwhat questions did Jennings have going into the draft not playing in college? The kid was a dominant high school player and you wanna talk about questions marks we’re talking about the same draft where Thabeet and Rubio went in the top five…Jennings and Rubio played each other overseas and Jennings got the better of him…Jennings even put an offer out to play him one on one and that if Rubio was in a workout setting nobody would think they’re looking at a top 5 pick…And him and Rubio are around the same age…

TheWizardParticipant10 pounds is not going to make Jennings better and he will NOT be in the top 4 pgs from the 2009 and 2010 drafts.

dolla130Participantyou probably never seen this kid play he is a beast and is a better PG then everyone from those drafts as far as being a true PG or a scoring PG with the exceptional passing ability and you cant name for PGs in the past 2 drafts who are better then him when it comes to that and running a team and he should have been a top three pick

Mr. 19134ParticipantYes I agree Jennings could of went top 3 because Thabeet and Harden were second and third respectively and Jennings will have a may bigger impact on this league then either one of them will. I like Harden a lot too but he is more of a solid 2 guard then anything, Jennings is a franchise player there should be no doubt about that. He lead his Bucks team to the playoffs in his first year and is a lightning rod personality who wants the weight of a franchise on his back. If Jennings would of been the first pick he wouldn’t disappoint in those aspects. Now I wouldn’t of taken him first because I still think Blake Griffin will be good but if I had a time machine and I were the Grizzlies I would of probable taken Jennings 2nd in retrospect of that draft. And let’s not get too carried away with the A.I. comparisons, Jennings is the only player who ever truly reminded me of Allen but Jennings is a pure point guard too me who can score, Allen was always good at both positions but was probably more of a shooting guard, with that said Jennings still didn’t average nothing to close to what A.I. averaged as a rookie. Iverson averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 assists as a rookie, yeah he was a beast and an all pro from day one. And he had the type of talent and athleticism that you wouldn’t ever wanna bet against him even a rookie he was in the discusion was one of the top players in the league because nobody could ever guard him or stop him Jennings doesn’t posses quite that much talent, YET, be he is getting there.

sc0rebuckets11Participantbeast no doubt, but most can’t overlook his size.
he is kinda the traditional lefty, as in being overly strong hand dominate, but his defense is very underrated.. and his playmaking ability & touch is great.
