Brandon Bass

Bass signs a multi-year deal with the Magic.. Good move? Does he start at the 4 and put Rashard at the 3 again?

yes he should start

I think he is such a big body and great down low scorer that the magic should start him but we can forget about ryan anderson's great play so this summer. he could compete for the job. Plus lewis would benefit from playing the 3... his natural position.

pg- Nelson
sg-Vince
sf- Lewis
pf- Bass/anderson
c-DH12

I think Ryan should be

I think Ryan should be playing the 3 rather then the 4. He is a 3 shooter. Not saying that Rashard's not since he was stats wise the best 3 point shooter in the league last year but if Anderson is in the game, Rashard will have to play the 4 because he has a better post up game then Ryan does.

noooo

Bass is more productive off tha bench let him b ur 6th man, pietrus shuld start @ tha 3, he has good perimeter d their starting 5 shuld look like dis

1.Nelson
2. Vinsanity
3. Pietrus
4. Lewis
5. Superman

6. Bass
7. Anderson

Can't go wrong wif either line up
They wuld still have good depth either way

magic depth chart

pg: 1. Nelson 2. A. Johnson
sg: 1. Vince Carter 2.J.J. Redick
sf: 1. Mickael Pietrus 2. Ryan Anderson 3. Jeremy Richardson
pf: 1. Rashard Lewis/ Brandon Bass
c: 1.Dwight Howard 2.???

This is a decent lineup, but what are the Magic going to do when Dwight Howard gets into foul trouble. Gortat and Tony Battie are no longer there and there is no other true center on the entire roster. True, playing small ball may benefit them against teams without a post presence(and they are a great three point shooting team) but against the Cavs, Shaq will have no one who will be able to guard him and Lebron can just waltz into the paint and not have to worry about his shot being blocked by Howard. The Magic need to sign a backup center because Howard does get into foul trouble a lot...

BIG MOVE!!!! Adding Bass

BIG MOVE!!!! Adding Bass gives you a solid player who can rebound and defend off the bench. Now you just need another wing player (Jerry Stackhouse) off the bench

i think

i think if it meant winning a championship, aka-with bass-another PF and post deal.. and anderson-step up from battie...that orlando would go ahead and match gortat and go under the cap pretty far

bass

he is a good pick up, but he will come off the bench. For all the people saying he should start, if the magic had carter and lewis at the 2 and 3 spots, they would form arguably the worst defensive perimter in the league. Pietrus needs to start to gaurd the other teams best wing player. Let's not act like Bass is some great player who must start.

no

bass will start. the magic dont wanna start air france. hes more productive coming off the bench. plus shard is too weak to play the 4. if you watch the magic games (not on tnt, espn)local like i do you would know what im talking about. bass will help dwight with the board and will give us toughness.
heres how our lineup should look next year.
pg/nelson/aj/pargo or robinson
sg/carter/air france/reddick
sf/shard weak ass/matt barners
pf/bass/anderson/
c/dwight/joe smith/hendrix.
