TarHeelRavenParticipant25 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals last night in the Wizards 102-96 victory at Indiana last night. Beal has a chance to be an absolute stud in this league. Good athlete, elite shooter, good defender. I think in 3 or 4 years he has a chance to be the top SG in the league.

TRC1991ParticipantI really think he’s more of a 2nd option. To be the best at your position, you have to be a 1st option. I’m taking his future growth into consideration as well. I don’t think he’ll ever be more than a 2nd option

Ebown5ParticipantI think that Beal is on his way to being a terrific player who will go to many allstar games. I think that to be conisdered the best shooting guard in the league though you probably have to be an mvp candidate type of player, and I don’t see him as that.
That being said, it is certainly a down time for the position in the league right now. There just aren’t very many great 2 guards around. So you never know.

Lotto StudParticipantI like Beal a lot. At one point in time I looked at him as a physical specimen.
Is it just me or does he not look physically imposing as he once looked before?

rileymcshea3ParticipantThis is what I see in Gary Harris… There combination of quickness and strength makes up for the lack of height. The same goes for Eric Gordon who at one point was a 20 ppg scorer
Back to Bradley Beal, I wonder if he would be this good if the Cavs would have some how been able to get him in draft night. Would he be able to play with Kyrie, or is John Wall the reason why he is so succesful at such a young age? He is already putting up nice numbers in the playoffs in only his second year in the NBA.

Mad MaxParticipantHe and Wall are match made in heaven. They will terrorize the league for years. They aren’t even close to their prime yet.

TarHeelRavenParticipantBeal wouldnt be this.good.if he played.with Kylrie. From all accounts.Kylie is interested.in dancing around with the ball and not.getting any of.his teammates involved. He’s an electric.talent but.sounds like.an absolutely.atrocious teammate. Beal would tear his.hair.out.playing.with uncle drew.

DipoTimeParticipantIm not sure why we always bring up "what if" scenarios like possible teammates when discussing a players potential lol I also don’t understand why people are so quick to put ceilings on such young and talented players like Beal.
Who’s to say he can’t be a first option? Why does being a first option necessarily affect how good you are as a player?
I think he can be a top tier player in the league. Not just a shooting guard but overall player. I loved him in high school as a shooter. He showed me at Florida that even when his shot wasn’t falling he could change the game in other areas.
I truly believe he had every tool coming into the draft and said that I believed he could be the best player in this draft. Seemed somewhat foolish at the time with Anthony Davis being the "next superstar" May seem even more foolish now with not only Davis playing at a high level, but also Lillard and Drummond.
Having said all of that, I still believe he CAN be the best player in this draft and a top 5-10 player in the league at some point. Looking more and more like his Ray Allen comparisons will be justified.

imAboutDatActionParticipantlol no way he becomes the best player in his draft.
Anthony Davis has that on lockdown.
