HuskiesParticipantOkc clearly need a 3rd scorer beside Durant and Westbrook. They should trade Perkins and their two #1s to boston for Jeff green.

FutureNBAGMParticipantI think what OKC needs more is a point guard whos more of a playmaker than a scorer so perhaps a Rondo/Westbrook swap would make more sense(obviously thats not the WHOLE deal but its a start. just my opinion).

cryan03ParticipantSo basically what your saying is they should do a trade back from the trade they did a couple of years ago? Yea that’s not gonna happen

thaprodigyParticipantIt’s really not as bad of a trade as some of you are making it out to be. When they traded for Perkins they did so to match up with the Lakers bigs of Gasol/Bynum and there isn’t really a tandem like that out, then you factor in the emergence of Adams and Perk is expendable. Green would also be a great sixth man and the Celtics actually need a center and stockpile more picks.
With that said I still don’t see it happening.

mixtape2003ParticipantI wouldn’t give both 1st round picks for Green. Maybe one, but I would rather trade that to Orlando for Affalo

joecheck88ParticipantI’d offer Jackson, PJ3, Perkins(salary), and 21st for Rondo. I’m not sure it is enough but I’d explore it. Jeff Green would be nice too but doesn’t seem as realistic since it has already happened once.

HuskiesParticipantOkc traded green away because they already had three elite scorer in harden, Westbrook and Durant and salary cap issues. Also, they needed perkin then in order to compete against Andrew Bynum and Paul gasol. The games has shifted from centers to more athletic players. By trading for green, okc will be both big and even more athletic with a team of
center- Adams/ ibaka
power forward ibaka/ green
small forward -Durant/ green
sg- lamb/ jackson
pg- Westbrook/ jackson

SixerBloodParticipantGreen was traded for Ray Allen on draft night that’s how the first big 3 happened who remembers that?(it was really a draft pick but still) And him going to Boston back was odd the first time, this time would be destiny!
