prophetmeirParticipantDont know if its been talked about but stephen a smith stated that their is rumor. That the Clippers would trade blake griffin, eric bledso and caron butler for KG, Pierce and Doc Rivers. Never seen a coach end up in trade discussions and I dont see this taken place. Thoughts?

TyroberParticipantWould be a horrible trade for the Clippers. Blake’s getting a lot of hate right now and he deserves most of it since he hasn’t really improved like he should have since his rookie season. Giving up Bledsoe and Griffin for a year or 2 of KG and possibly the same of Pierce? You throw in Jordan instead of Griffin and it makes sense for both sides IMO, but definitely not Griffin. He is a cash cow who fans love to watch.

hbomb3300ParticipantIf this has any truth to it that would be one of the most lopsided trades I’ve ever seen. Why would the clippers give up two good, young talents for 2 players who are going to retire in a year or two and a coach who probably doesn’t even want to go there.

Tune SquadParticipantI don’t know how anyone can take Steven A. seriously. That trade will never ever happen. If anything it might make more sense for a sign and trade Paul for Rondo, if Paul is going to leave and wants to play with those guys anyways. In reality I could see CP re-sign and Blake has a lot of pride and you can bet is going to work his tail off this off-season no matter. Blake knows the honeymoon is over and he needs to take his game further. He didn’t make it this far by not knowing how to work hard, and you will see some re-dedication next year whether or not CP returns.

JunkYardDogParticipantI think stan van gundy has been traded against a 2nd round draft pick (from miami to orlando) few years ago…
