Bosh for Bynum is a go
I don't know why everyone swears Bosh wants to be the number 1 guy, because he really doesn't care about that at all. Bosh wants to come to a big market like LA so that
A. He can win a ring because Bosh is all about winning
B. He wants to get into acting and there isn't a better place than LA
C. Bosh doesn't need a max contract in LA, because he will make money on the side with the marketing tools he will be offered.
Even though DNYCE made these downright absurd comments, I do think that this is possible. LA is a big market, and if there is no way that Toronto can sign and keep Chris Bosh, they might just do a sign-and-trade with the Lakers and the Raptors get a big man with potential and a nice role player. One thing stopping this trade is Chris Bosh's ego because he has said that he wants to be the #1 option with any team he goes to which he not going to be on the Lakers with Kobe Bryant there. I'm not even sure if the Lakers can afford to pay a player a max contract.

Gasol played the 5 and he played well, he shut down Howard who is arguably the best center in basketball and your telling me Gasol can't and doesnt want to play center? Lakers have plenty of offense already, defense is the key to staying on top. Bosh for bynum is a step in the wrong direction defensively.
Many Laker fans are on the fence about this trade because people still believe in this "potential" that Bynum has, but the Lakers are tired of paying a role player who is injury prone 14 going on 15 mill dollars a year, and he doesn't even play in the 4th quarter. Bosh is perfect for the triangle, he would operate in the triangle much better than Bynum and you don't have to force feed him the ball to get his points.

I don't really see why the Lakers would want Bosh either. Like llperez said, Bynum doesn't command the ball like Bosh would. That is Kobe's team and the nucleus they have is still the team to beat. All they really need is a replacement for Fisher and maybe another bench guy which they could get in the draft.

This is by far the dumbest post I've seen on this site so far...there is no way in hell this happens. 1st off, Shannon Brown is more than likely gonna opt out(although he's overrated, someone will give him more than $2 mil/yr) so that kills the whole trade right there. and TOR has no desire to play Bargnani at the 4, he creates a mismatch at the C position every game with his shooting ability. move him to the 4 and he'd be overmatched by the athletecism of the 4's in the east. plus Bynum is one of the more immature guys in the league, do you really think he'd endorse going to Canada? didn't think so...fantasize all you want, this isn't happening. Bosh's options(in order) are Miami, Chicago, NY, and even Dallas before LA.
yeah, i was wrong about bynums contract. He is getting 12 mill this year, 14 mill next year and 15 mill in 2012. Still less then bosh though. And DNYCE, he is more then just potential. He is playing very solid ball when he is healthy. Its not like we are talking about kwame brwon here. Bynum averaged 15-8 this year in 30 minutes as a third option.

The Raptors have all the leverage in a S&T for Bosh. They can give him the most money and most years. So Toronto could much better then just Andrew Bynum.
DeMar DeRozan will not be getting traded. He's seen as a potential shutdown defender. He will not be moved. Get that in your head- It's not happening. If it did, it's not happening for a SCRUB like Shannon Brown.
If Los Angeles signs Shannon Brown this offseason, they have to wait till December to move him.
