I think this trade would work for both teams.
Cavs get a stretch 4 that can nail outside shots and work great with Bynum as an inside outside duo.
Heat get much needed toughness and rebounding to compete with the bigger frontlines.
this doesnt work because bosh fits the heats theory of stretching the floor and clearing lanes for james and wade. thompson and varejao both don't stretch the floor whatsoever.
The Heat just won back to back championships....
bosh worth both of those guys by himself.
I could comment on a ton of things about this... Such as: Bosh had a chance to play in Cleveland and didnt want to, Cleveland already owning the Heats 1st in 2015, or the fact that Gilbert wouldn't trade with the Heat if he thought it may help them in anyway..
But instead I'll just say..
The Heat have won 2 straight championships, no need to trade one of the "Big 3."
The Heat could very well win a 3rd title. While this trade benefits the Heat in the long term- It damages the prospects winning next season.
