aamir543ParticipantHe’s tailed off a bit this season, his field goal percntage dropped from 49% to 41%, he doesn’t get you too many boards, but he holds his own. Even though he has an expiring contract, 9 mil is a bit hefty. What I imagine the Bobcats would do is try to get somthing, even a second round pick for him, and if all fails, they’ll reach a buyout with him, and he’ll be free to sign with whoever he choses. The main suitors will be the usual suspects, the Celts, Heat, Lakers, possibly the Clips, and maybe a team like the Thunder or the Mavs. He can still help a team out a bit, but in these situations, we often see teams chase these formerly great vets and then it doesn’t work out so well down the stretch, but it’s always worth a try. The only thing I have a problem with is cutting a young player to make room for a guy like Diaw, but that’s a problem for a different thread, lol.

KayjayParticipantThey might actually bite.

DondiJohnParticipantThe only reason I see the Thunder getting him is for his versatility and passing ability as a big man. He’s a tweener 30% of a 3 and 70% of a 4. Can he provide the inside threat the Thunder need although coming from the bench?

HaleParticipantI remember when he was actually really good in Phoenix when Amare was out. I guess someone had to pick up the slack with Eddy Curry losing much of his weight though.

PlatypusParticipanti think its funny how he came into the league as a pg/sg combo, but as a large point guard to play next to jason terry and now look at him
