Scottoant93ParticipantI want to know your opinion about the blazers. Im really starting to feel like thier owners have no class at all. here is what im talking about
- When darius Miles retired due to injury, he wanted to make a comeback but the blazers sent every team a threat letter saying anyone who would sign him would be sued(or something of that nature), none the less the grizz signed him and his contract with the blazers was held against thier salary cap.
- Paul Allen fires KP because he was envy of the attention and praise he was getting for turning the blazers around, and making them a playoff team in such short of time. He hires Cho to replace him, only to fire him a year later(last week) because he didnt do a sufficient job and "was not a right fit"
- Now the blazers are trying to lure Brandon Roy into retirement so that they can clear his max contract off thier books, Roy has been riddled by injuries and may never be the player he once was, sad considering he was just entering his prime and for it to end so like this is tragic.
Im sorry but that are really starting to disgrace the league and city of portland and thier fans, and look to headed toward the new era jail blazers if they are not careful, since they treat all thier good players and staff like shiit. Love them one day, throw them away like a dirty rag when things dont go thier way

Chilbert arenasParticipantIt is very sad for Roy. He was the prototypical two-guard and played the game the right way.

Memphis MadnessParticipantRoy and Oden need to "retire" then come out of retirement and join the Thunder. They would both fit perfectly. Can you imagine the old-man-combo of Brandon Roy and James Harden? Or the Twin Scowl combo of Kendrick Perkins and Greg Oden? Ibaka and Oden blocking EVERYTHING? That would be a great team to watch.
Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Roy, Sefolosha, Collison, Ibaka, Perkins, and Oden would be an AWESOME team. Great perimeter scorers in Durant, Westbrook, Harden, and Roy. Sefolosha as a glue guy along with whoever they draft at 23. Then Ibaka, Perkins, Oden, and Collison up front which would rival the old Bad Boys in terms of nastiness.

i’m jus so offendedParticipantI think this Brandon Roy thing is not true and completely unwarranted. I was reported by a writer at The Oregonian and it is according to "sources" that he does not cite…the GM issue to me is very sketchy but if the owner doesn’t agree with their philosophy, he has every right to fire them. I think your going off a lot of speculation and have no evidence to warrant your claims…The Blazers know what Brandon Roy has done for that team and the city, of course they want to move him but I don’t see it possible that the Blazers management would say to him "Brandon, you might want to consider retiring for the sake of our salary cap"….cmonnnn mannnnn

NashyMingParticipantWhen your owner thinks he knows basketball and yet he has less knowledge than an average fan and he’s trying to run the team while firing the competants GMs, staffs, etc, your team would be in serious trouble.
Right now, Paul Allen surrounded himself with Yes Man in the management. Luckily, Nate McMillan is a good coach and he’s still around.
