delfamParticipantsince the Wizards already have Blatch and McGee, Wall would still be the first pick.

OhCanada-ParticipantDrafts nowadays are loaded with PG’s as is the league, I would prefer to have Blake Griffin and hes dominant skill and athletisism in the post.

apb540ParticipantI don’t think Blatche and McGee are enough to look past a dominant big man like Blake Griffin. I am a HUGE John Wall fan, but they already has Arenas and a line up of: Arenas, Young, Whoever their SF is, Griffen, McGee; would look pretty dam good in the East.
PS: I am not saying that if they would of taken Wall over Griffin that I would of bashed them for it; just can’t go wrong here.

ajk004ParticipantIf Favors potential is enough to get him to go 3 then Blake’s success and potential are enough to pull ahead of Wall.

ShekiruBoomParticipantI think people are just jumping on the Blake Griffin bandwagon. If i remember correctly, the hype Blake Griffin had when he was going into the 09 draft was nowhere near the hype John Wall had in 10 draft. Again from pure memory but i remember people saying blake griffin was not a frachise type player but still a capable all start while on the other hand, no one doubted John Wall as a franchise type player. But from what i’ve seen so far this season, I’ll agree with everyone and take Blake Griffin but looking long term, I’ll still take John Wall as you can’t forget about the year Blake Griffin had purely studying the game

Meditated StatesParticipantWould fit better than Wall and Arenas. I would also perfer the double double machine. Blake actually will get the crowd going more with huge dunks. I think Blake is the more rare player. There are plenty of guys similar to Wall and more coming. That being said I like John Wall he is going to be a great player,I would take Blake.

andxxxParticipantI hate to say this, but I’d rather have Griffin, john wall will be a superstar no doubt, but finding elite point guards is getting easier than finding elite power forwards that can score and rebound

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantBlake. You don’t find this type of athletic big man that moves that quick like him easily. In my opinion he is the only legit big man to have a chance to lead the league in scoring next few years.

stanford hoopsId take Blake. Whats being lost this year to some is that they are pretty close as far as what they are doing. Blake is putting up 20 and 11 while wall is putting up 18 and 9 while leading the league in steals if I’m not mistaken. Some are leaning more towards Blake because of his unbelievable dunks but overall its a pretty tight race for rookie of the year

IndianaBasketballParticipantYou can’t go wrong with either player. They’re both are humble, hard working and want to be great… They’re both going to be superstars.
I’d take Blake Griffin though. Finding a great big man is a lot harder to find than a great point guard these days.
