jaysmith1987ParticipantI never hear anyone mention his ballhandling skills. This guy has guard like dribbling skills i think thats whats seperates him from other pfs. He should devepop a jumper but with his handle post moves and athleticism he will dominate the league for years.

SupParticipantWhat are you talking about. He is an avg. ball handler for his size.
Odom I can say say has great handle for that height and also Dirk

Da1potParticipantI agree. He’s not quite on the small-forward level like Odom and Dirk, but I think he is a pretty good dribbler for his size. I think his quick first step for a big man might be what helps him the most in beating other players off the dribble.

BasterdInABasketParticipantHe was doing some and1 crossovers last night. It looked real nice but he didnt go anywhere with it but he does have some nice handles for a guy that size and build.

IndianaBasketballParticipantHe’s a better ball handler than Dirk easily.
Odom on the other hand is a rare ball handler for his size… He handles like a point guard.
I’d say you can put Griffin in that big man handling class as a Charles Barkley.
That dribble move Griffin hit Troy Murphy with was sickening.
We need to be talking about Griffin’s post work though. After a not so good showing the first game, he showed more of what he’s been working on this summer during the second game.

WizardofOzParticipantGriffin has very good handles for a big man. He’s capable of taking it coast-to-coast and making plays on the break with the ball in his hands. If he was a little shorter, he would’ve been developed as a SF, and his handle would look even better.
Odom, Blatche, and Griffin has the best handles for a big man in that order.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGriffin led the fast break, pointed up to DeAndre for the alley and through a perfect pass. I mean, what power forward does that?
Dude is special. During last night’s game, he showed improvements as a back to the basket post player, footwork, face up jumpshot and defense.
I really think Griffin is going to develop into a more athletic Karl Malone type of player IF he can stay healthy.

JNixonParticipantBlake Griffin was out there going honeybaked ham on Troy Murphy last night. He had 9 straight points on him during the 3rd or 4th quarter when I was watching at one point.

TallmanNYCParticipantYeah, but Troy Murphy is only slightly faster than a sofa. Of course a great athete like Griffin is going to school him and have the confidence to try fancy stuff as well.
