Biggest Potential 2nd Round Sleeper in this year's draft
I think Dante Cunningham because he was playing big at Villanova but he could translate to a good wing and he got some serious skills. I'm also high on the Zags Heytfelt and Downs.
But I think that Tony Douglas from Florida State can really be a big help to a team like the Twolves. And Danny Green as well, I think he's easily the most underrated player from the Tar Heels this year. I think his game has always been a bit limited by the college play style too.
Alex Ruoff? Good size and defence with a great assist to turnover ratio. And the guy leads WVU history is 3 pointers made.
Both are solid combo guard prospects to me. I know niether were true pg prospects, but that had more to do with the fact that at about 6'2, 6'3, there colleges played them at shooting guard because they had small lineups, and coulde produce ball handling more easily than scoring. They both could be functional running the point or the two guard depending on matchups, There slightly undersized, but athletic, quick, and scrappy. TD especially, I go to FSU i would know, plays unreal defense on ball and off ball. He is in unbelievable shape, he plays the whole game and scored all the points and locked down the best player every game, for an overachieving team. I have no doubts that he will be a good pro right away, I think he is a poormans Randy Foye, but not that poor.
how about aj price, looks solid at times and has struggled because of injuries... could see him improve a lot if healthy and be a solid contributor
dionte christmas is a good player, can score
Jerel McNeal - can have similar career like Charlie Bell
Jeff Adrien - possible next Maxiell or Millsap
Dionte Christmas - could do what Courtney Lee is doing for a contender
Danny Green - versatile player to contribute in lots of way
Milenko Tepic - could develop as a solid backup PG
Marcus Thornton/Jermaine Taylor - Flip Murray type backup scorer
Curtis Jerrells will sneak in as a 1st rounder after work outs. No one can stay in front of Curtis. He utilizes the pick and roll better then any guard in college basketball.
Kevin Rogers will definitely be a 2nd rnd pick. Athletic with great foot work. avg 12, 8, 1 and never received the ball in the post. He will show up major during work outs. Players should be scared to play against him and coaches are excited to see.
I like Jerrels and Rogers, but my biggest late round sleeper is STEFON JACKSON OF UTEP! He is a great offensive player and would be a 1st round pick if he played for a contender or high major squad
McNeal- I definitely like McNeal, he is a tenacious defender and his jump shot has definitely improved.
Adrien- doesn''t have the athleticism of Maxiell or the offensive package that Milsapp has, don't see him making it
Green- I think Danny could have a Josh Childress like career, filling the stat sheet efficiently off the bench
My best bet for a 2nd round sleeper would definitely by Heytvelt. He is a big, athletic, and can hit the 15 footer which is a premium in the NBA's pick and pop game
I am feeling some of yall posts. I can tell I have some people that are on top of their college game. Hopefully some of these Gm's have enough intelligence to consider these players
I watched a lot of this guy over the years, and he has the physical attributes and overall skill to play at the next level. However, I just don't think the mental aspect is there. He seems to disapear for long stretches and just drift around the perimeter. He is not that aggressive inside, scoring around the hoop or attacking the glass. I think that he lost some athletisicm and quickness with his knee injury in his sophmore year.
A player that nobody mentioned who will probably slip into the second round with this heavy pg class is darren collison. He probably would have been a top 20 pick had he come out after his sophomore year. He has nba level quickness and great leadership qualities, to go along with excellent defense. I think he could be a quality backup point guard, or fill-in starter, for many years in the nba.
I also like:
Tyrese Rice--mo williams type scoring pg
Leo Lyons--reminds me a lot of david west coming out of college
Jerel McNeal--has a nice all-around game and great motor

I agree on Danny Green. He is commited to D and size similar to Bowen. Could dvelop into a stopper like Bruce did. Nick Calathes is going to be very good as long as he goes to a good system for him. And some people have T-Will in the 2nd round. He would be a steal there.

Who do you think will end up being a second round pick that will have the biggest impact on an NBA team? If I were throw a name out there, I think it could be josh heytvelt or Jeff Pendergraph. What do you think?
