Me and my mates have been discussing the future of the Big Baller Brand

One question we came across was…

"Which NBA players would potentially sign with Big Baller Brand"

It is likely that none do but for the sake of having a bit of fun, who maybe could sign with the BBB

Depends on if you mean current or Future NBA players…

But if they are serious about it the may need some better models to try appeal to the players…

The hard part is most current players already have deals but lets presume for this sake you mainly target a player whos shoe deal has just finished up…

Guards:Jordan Clarkson helps you get break into the Philiapino market, Alex Abrines-Helps get into the spanish market and gets some shine playing with Russell,Dion Waiters he is the type of dude who has that big baller Swag lol,Lonzo(of course)Frank Ntlikina(helps you get into the French market + plays in N.Y) and Maybe somehow you can get one big name who wants creative  freedom after being lock into a big company..

Forwards: Jaylen Brown-Seems like he would take a chance if the money was right + his game is flashy..Kyle Kuzma -likes how much freedom Big baller offers then jumps on board,Kevin Love after his current deal expires he is like I want to help my fellow bruin out.

Center: Enes Kanter-He has the N.Y/Turkish market who may want his shows+ he has those controversial takes like Lavar lol,Deandre Jordan seems like he would hop to another brand if price was right but the wild card would be…Boogie he has that Lavar fire to get in peoples face so…

But the Future market is where it is at for them…Find the Guys who are Popular,Top talent and get onto them Asap as the younger market may be willing to make a deal when they haven’t been hooked into their first deal..Especially if they like how Zo’s launch went+ freedom they get..

I agree that they target players who come from specific locations which could get them into specific markets outside the US. Also might they look at some former top players who are still in the NBA who might not get the deals they once had but are still known and respected names – Vince Carter, Joe Johnson type players.

Maybe look to build a strong relationship with a rebuilding team lets say the Nets, they have a fairly diverse roster, get some of those guys on board so when the draft picks come back to the Nets, they would be in a good position to snag those guys.

There is always a good young player who will fall for ghe hard sell.  Remember Karl Malone and the L.A. Gear fiasco?    (Dobig baller shoes have lights?)

Lance Stephenson is the only person I can think of that would sign with BBB.

The key phrase for any potential BBB client is, "irrational confidence."

Guys like Marcus Smart, JR Smith, Javale McGee, Lance Stephenson, Dion Waiters are some names that come to mind.

The BBB definitely needs someone from outside of their circle to attach their name to it to give it an en vogue aurora that it currently lacks.

But, in the short term the only way this works is for the Ball players themselves to market the product because it doesn’t cost them any thing to attach their name to it …

They’ll probably make enough money to make it work for them, but you have to remember, the profits are probably being split four ways (or at least I hope they are for the kid’s sake). I can’t imagine there is enough left over right now to pay an NBA star to attach their name to it. … The market for a bona-fide NBA star is upwards of $5 million per year, and many of these deals are long term.

That’s a huge financial commitment for a fledgling company that’s right out of the gate.

If they were smart, they would do what Beats did and give a percentage of ownership to someone who could stick their name on it in hopes it pays of big someday. But I think LaVar is too narcissistic to think that is necessary … and I’m not sure real stars would want their name attached to LaVar right now. To me, he’s kind of toxic. I think most players like Lonzo, but think LaVar is a clown, and it would take a lot of money for most players to hitch themselves to that kind of circus.

FYI … these guys are going to have to dramitcally cut the price of the shoe to make any kind of dent in a lot of foriegn markets. There’s not exactly a lot of demand for $500 shoes in Mexico or the Phillipines.

I hate to burst anyone’s bubble with this thread, but there will not be anyone apart of the BBB for a good while. Lavar recently had an interview on the Breakfast Club, and stated that he would not string anyone along, knowing that he would not be 100% invested into the player. He went on to say, once he gets his family straight, then maybe he would consider it, but right now, his children are the priority.
