The Detroit 3 looks amazing: they’ve got a skilled offensive big, an athletic huge defensive big & a talented shooter that can create for himself and others. This 3 seems to complement each other perfectly

in this league on individual teams

    but

i got to say its a toss up

    between

New Orleans, Detroit, GS, and Sacramento

but washington could be very good to if jan vesley finally comes into his game

they all could, im just not sold on tristian thompson and dion waiters,

and it will be interesting to see how toronto unfolds, if any of those guys could potientally reach a glimpse of stardom

Between Sac and Det, good big men are the key to great groups and both of them have two promosing each that complement well. Wings are easier to find so I choose the BIGs.

Harrison Barnes, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson

This trio could make them the best shooting team in the League.

In all fairness they had a combo of Curry-Thompson-Wright, which isn’t any worse shooting-wise

And you missed the obvious answer:

    Oklahoma City Thunder
Kevind Durant, Russel Westbrook, and James Harden….

Only thing is by then we might be calling this the Big 5.

Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Serge Ibaka, and Perry Jones III

What a great spot for Perry Jones, I mean seriously he gets to learn from the guy he is most built like in the league, and if Ibaka could play C they would hve the most athletic lineup of all time.  And with the way basketball is always changing Altheticism is a great luxury in the league.

Out of those choices, I’m going to go with Detroit, but my sleeper is Toronto.  I don’t think it will be Ross, Derozan, and Valanciunas though, but I think Valanciunas, DeRozan, and one other guy could be the best Big 3 in that group depending on who they can get.

Am I the only one who doesnt see why the Hornets took Austin Rivers. I mean he has a lot of potential, but their best player is Eric Gordon, another short scoring SG that’s not good enough to be the PG. Another thing is with these two ball dominant players, how is Anthony Davis supposed to develop an offensive game? And dont forget they have X. Henry who still has good potential at the SG position.

They coudl’ve drafted down (to Boston lets say) and gotten Jared Sullinger, who pairs up excellent with Davis down low, or Kendall Marshall who could really help Davis and Gordon.

The Cavs could be it, you never know.  I really like Kyrie Irving.  Not sold on TT, but he put up decent numbers and steadily improved.  Not sold on Dion Waiters either but if he develops some chemistry with Irving their backcourt could be golden.  I actually like them getting Tyler Zeller.  He is a good athlete who can run the floor and score.  Nice post game too.

With OKC loading up on young beasts you might actually need a BIG FIVE now.  If the Thunder’s young guns live up to their potential (and if Presti can figure out a way to pay five max contracts) then they could run the next decade with Westbrook, Harden, Durant, Perry Jones, and Serge Ibaka.  I think they could potentially pay all five, but it would be tough.  I think they could move K-Perk, maybe back to Boston.  If they could pull that off (Ray Ray one year sign and trade to OKC with Perkins going back to Beantown), plus move Nick Collison ($3 million) and Cook ($3 million) they could shave another $6 million off their payroll.  I love Collison and think he could even start if they moved Ibaka, but he is a bit more replaceable than some of the other prodigy ballers.

Potentially the Heat could have LeBron, Wade, Bosh, Little Mr. Big Shot Chalmers, Steve Nash, Ray Allen, and Shane Battier next year for a Big Seven — that’s not a basketball team, that’s almost a football conference.

Boston could counter with Rondo, Pierce, KG, Fab Melo, Sully, Avery Bradley, and OJ Mayo (?).  Not bad.

Another dark horse would be the Grizzlies with Rudy, Conley, Z Bo, Marc Gasol, Tony Allen, and Tony Wroten for a nice six man core.  Two immovable objects with a soft touch down low, Rudy Gay throwing down dunks and being a semi-cautionary tale for Perry Jones III, Mike Conley, and two Tony’s who absolutely cannot shoot.

Damn, it might take five guys or more for the younger teams to compete.  I kinda like what the Cavs are doing.  Irving, Zeller, Waiters, and TT are decent with upside.  Should be good fits.  Then next year you might get the OTHER Zeller for a Young Big Five.  Or McAdoo who would fit right in as the scoring small forward with stretch four potential.

Right now, on paper, the Kings look great with the other Isaiah Thomas, Tyreke Evans, Cousins, Jimmer, and T Rob.  But, in a year or two the Cavs might actually be building something better.  Don’t count out the Barnes-Curry-Klay, Draymond-David Lee-Bogut-Festus (had to throw Festus in their too) Warriors either.

Next Best Offensive big three: Harrison Barnes, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson.
Strike me as a team that is going to put up an incredible amount of points.

Next Best Defensive big three: Greg Monroe, Brandon Knight, and Andre Drummond.
With two big men clogging the lane, I’m pretty sure its going to develop into an army of hands in the paint every time somebody even tries to go hard in the paint. Drummond and Monroe seem like the type of Duo that are most likely to send your ball flying if you try to bring that weak shit in there house.

Next Most Intimidating big three to watch: Tyreke Evans, Thomas Robinson, Demarcus cousins.
Call me crazy, but with all the mean mugs on that team, they seem like the next NBA bad boys lolol.

Detroit by far.  They could be contenders in a few years.
