    Illinois:

D.J. Richardson- 6’4 SG with decent strength and length…Fundamentally sound player who possesses solid shooting skills…Generally takes smart shots…Can score from mid-range…Plays a mature game…Not very athletic or quick…Plays functional D…Went through an ugly slump last season during the conference slate

Brandon Paul- 6’3 guard with an aggressive approach to scoring…Likes to slash the lane and will also try and shoot the ball from deep too…Good quickness and athleticism…Great 1st step…Shot selection isn’t very good…Slumped again for the 2nd straight season…Will need to get more efficient

Meyers Leonard- A 7 foot Euro-style big…Good potential as a shooter and floor spacer… Athletic…Can run the floor and block shots a little…Not a very good rebounder…Lacks strength (only 225 lbs)…Not a low post guy really…Long term prospect

    Indiana:

Christian Watford- A long 6’8 combo forward with a versatile skill set…Good athleticism…Displays a bunch of offensive skills that are raw, but look promising…Could be a good one if he polishes those skills more…Has a decent looking shot…Can be a mismatch for PF offensively…Lacks strength and is limited as a finisher, rebounder, and defender because of it

Victor Oladipo- A long, freaklishly athletic 6’5 210 Soph. SF/SF…Really explosive, and likes to play above the rim…Big threat in transition…Can get in the passing lanes and get steals…Very energetic, intense, and fun to watch…Plays on the defensive end…Lacks the ball-handling skills to create shots much in half-court offense…Not much of a shooter…Skills are behind his athleticism…Long term prospect who will have a bigger role for Indiana this coming season…

    Michigan:

Tim Hardaway Jr.- A long 6’5 190 SG/SF…Solid athlete…Nice size and the frame to put on more weight…Has a nice shot…Moves well without the ball…Willing defender…Needs to improve his handle and shot-creating skills…Should get more consistent as a shooter…Will be forced to shoulder a big load for a Michigan squad this season, and he’s going to have to create more for himself with Darius Morris off to the NBA and no great PG’s on the roster

    Michigan State:

Draymond Green- How can you not like him? Seriously lol….Looks more like an Eating contest champ than a ball-player…Wide bodied PF at 6’6 255…Surprisingly light feet for his size…GREAT passing and rebounding skills…Can face-up and score a little..Also can post…Lacks athleticism…Limited on D because of his lack of height and length for a PF…Has a bad body…

Adreian Payne- 6’10 230 Payne is an athletic guy with lots of length….He has the frame to add weight and be a more physically imposing player …Right now, he’s too raw to really be an impact player…Looks like a shot-blocking presence…He needs to find a skill and hang his hat on it down low….Upside is there for him to be a good player…Will need production and growth from him this year

Keith Appling- 6’1 Soph. combo guard with quickness…Pretty good scorer…Is a threat to get to the rim…Should improve his handle some more…Needs strength…Doesn’t have the decision-making or passing ability of a pure PG…Long-term prospect, but he’s not all that great a prospect…Will be looked upon heavily for scoring next season for the Spartans

    Minnesota:

Rodney Williams- 6’7 210 Athletic freak with a huge wingspan…High defensive potential, and will string together some great games on that end at times…Great dunker and transition guy…Bad handles…Not a very good shooter…Shouldn’t be a guy you run offense through…Struggled once again in the conference stretch…Relies on his size and athleticism too much…His skills lag..Scouts are still intrigued by him though, but this year is real important for him to prove he’s a legit prospect

Trevor Mbakwe- A powerful 6’8 235 PF with long arms…Outstanding rebounder with a high motor…Has a strong drop step in the low post…Usually looks to finish emphatically around the rim…Competes on D…Not particularly skilled offensively, and struggles with scoring when his initial move is cut off

    Northwestern:

John Shurna- Can shoot the ball very well….Combo forward…Floor spacer…Great passing skills for a combo forward…Pretty smart…Makes effort plays…Not much defensive or rebounding ability or potential

    Ohio State:

Jared Sullinger- 6’8 250 Fr. PF…Knows how to play…Can pass, post up up, and has a dependable 15 footer…Long arms…Can put it on the floor some…Tough…Great on the glass…Ambidextrous…Scores very well down low…Not real athletic…Still, he’s extremely good right now…Similar to a pre-injury Elton Brand

Aaron Craft- A 6’1 caretaker of a PG…Doesn’t make as many mistakes as you’d expect from a young PG…Can stick the open jumper…Gets the ball in the hands of his teammates in their favorite spots…Pesky defender…Lacks athleticism…A bit foul prone for a PG, which speaks to his average physical tools and below par athleticism…Not much of a scoring threat…Long term prospect, similar to a Steve Blake-type

Dashaun Thomas- A 6’7 230 PF with some mismatch skills…Alright athlete…Nice scoring ability…Can stick the 3 ball…Still developing his body more…Only OK defensive potential…Will play more this year and show his ability, after showing flashes last year

Will Buford- 6’6 wing shooter with good athleticism…Great in transition…Can come off of screens and score…OK on D…Although he has a 2-dribble pull-up he’s not an accomplished good ball-handler…Can’t create for himself very well…Could be more aggressive…

    Wisconsin:

Jordan Taylor- Arguably the best returning PG in the country…Had an outstanding season for Wisconsin last year…A 6’1 195 PG with the build of a running back…Pretty good quickness…Smart…Developed into a good shooter after struggling with his shot his 1st 2 years…Takes care of the ball extremely good (near 4/1 A:TO) and masterfully ran the Badgers swing offense…Not very athletic…Not a standout finisher around the rim

Good quick write up. No way Sully is only 250 lbs though. Gotta at least be 270, 275 with the way he looked last year. If he can play at a lean 260, 265 he should be good.

I also will be watching that Indiana squad next year. I know I’m not the only one who barely watched any if not none of their games the past two years. Think I only saw their games against Kentucky past 2 seasons.
