Best Value SB teams in 2012

Given value is such a critical part of gambling i thought we should have a thread where people make a case for their best value couple of picks for the SB for the up coming season......its easy to say GB or NE but the reality is these are pretty bad value at around 5/1, 6/1 respectively.....I took NO Saints @ 25/1 3 yrs back & NYG 20/1 (part way through last year) & if you go further back Ari were 50/1 just before the playoffs the year they lost the SB to Pit so it shows these longer priced teams can win for you in the NFL, there is ALWAYS a few teams that come from "nowhere" to make a serious run the next season.

My value pick in 2012 is the San Diego Chargers 25/1

They've been under-achievers but they had some excuses for falling away last year, i think their offense is still going to be elite & i am backing Rivers to have a great season & bounce back, hopefully the problems with the Offensive line will not happen again.....they have re-tooled their D a bit & it should improve as well.
I think the odds are fantastic value.

My other value pick in 2012 is the Detroit Lions @ 25/1
Their offensive is near on unstoppable & so it really comes down to whether they can get improvement from their D, certainly (after some likely suspensions) their pass rush means it can/should/might! cover some of the other weaknesses which they have tried to address in the offseason as well.

Notable mention, Houston Texans @ 12/1
These guys would be a major play for me if i could get a bit better price (wanted 15/1) i backed them last year @ 33/1 & to be honest i think if Schaub stayed healthy they would have gone very close to making the SB but thats history. They still look like they have all the pieces they need to make a serious run at the SB & they were competitive even with TJ Yates @ QB & injuries at other positions (WR in particular). I think 12/1 is value & worth a play.

“I would like to play my

“I would like to play my whole career here. That’s a given,” Gibson told HOOPSWORLD at the start of training camp. “This is a great city, great organization, great people, and it would be a dream come true (to stay).”6556kjfj

This is what he said when

This is what he said when asked what lasting value could be taken from that Spurs series: “I think it kinda all went out of the window, because when you have a bigger goal and you have a goal that you’re trying to reach, that goal is like anything in life. If you have a goal you’re trying to reach, you tend to achieve smaller goals trying to reach to your bigger goal, but that don’t mean you stop trying to reach to your bigger goal.

The Houston Rockets tied up

The Houston Rockets tied up one more piece of unfinished business on Saturday night, trading disgruntled Kevin Martin to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a deal that landed James Harden in Houston. The Rockets also send Jeremy Lamb and future draft considerations to Oklahoma City. The Thunder also send Cole Aldrich, Daequan Cook and Lazar Hayward to Houston in the trade.9898798
