Best in Game Dunker Ever?
Jordan, Kemp and Carter were the best I've seen in my lifetime. Wilkins, Blake Griffin and Tom Chambers are up there too.
Cool video but I don't think you can say best in game dunker when he is dunking on guys like me. Vince Carter and Blake Griffin are 2 of the best that come to mind. Shawn Kemp for an older reference.
I always thought how different the highlight would be if KG actually got punched out lol
He reminds me of James White
While I wouldn't consider him one of the best in-game dunkers in NBA history, Shannon Brown had a nice two-or-three-year period with the Lakers in which he was regularly putting down some nasty stuff in games. Nothing game changing, but some fantastic dunks.
Best in-game though, I think I'm gonna have to go with JoeWolf with Kemp, Carter, and Jordan. Not old enough to've really seen 'Nique though, sadly.
As far as in-game dunks, there's Vince Carter...then there's everyone else!!!
However James White's windmill dunk from almost the free throw line in the College Basketball Dunk Contest may be the most impresive dunk I've ever seen ANYWHERE!!!!!
Lets not forget about T-Mac.
Vince Carter hands down...
i got Shawn Kemp, Vinsanity, and how can we forget these guys!!!
GERALD GREEN!!!
SHANNON BROWN!!!
A better question would be who's the best in-game dunker outside of Vince. That'd probably come down to 'Nique or Kemp.
I never really got to see Jordan play but i like Vince and then Lebron the way he posters people. Blake Griffin too.
Vince Carter, but Blake is making a legit case. Those dunks on Gasol were absolutely nasty last year, even better than the Perkins one. I think sooner or later Griffin will be up there with Vinsanity because he just posterizes people on a regular basis.
I got Shawn Kemp cos he played in a time when you could posterize guys then point at them after without getting tech. He was so good players on the opposing team would give him dap.
Best Dunker is Carter, easily. I was watching a DVD about the "Foundations" from the early 2000s the other day and in the Carter segment, they showed him isolated on the wing with about 5 seconds left and the Raptors down one, and he just glided past his own guy and threw down a vicious dunk to win the game. I honestly can't remember the last time I saw a game-winning dunk from a guard!
Best big man dunker is Kemp though.

As a life-long Hornets fan, I think this one is memorable.
Omphalos that was vs Houston right? Pretty sure I was watching that game he dunked it right in Hakeems face he didnt even have a chance to block it.
Also when you say best in game dunker you gotta look at how many dunks these guys get in games and factor that in. Just because you can dunk in practice doesnt mean you can do it in games. So Gerald Green, James White, and Shannon Brown are disqualified for this thread imo lol.
Yeah Vince Carter has a video package similar to that but the only difference is that he is dunking on NBA level players who actually try to defend him as well as 7 footers standing in the way of the hoop. Imagine his video package if he was playing against that competition!
Vince Carter one time posted up Paul Piece behind the half circle and turned around dunked on him from a stand still. The Celtics commentators pretty much said wow, he is the only player that could have done that. Kobe Byrant should be in the list also. He was getting 4/6 dunks again for a long period of time and most of them were just Nasty.
I really miss the old days of mine.

Ban now. He even has the company name. ugghhh
Pippen wasn't flashy but he had hops and he dunked hard, and put a couple big men on some posters.......young Kobe was a dunking machine, style and was punching on centers hard.....
I was at the Pacers game and had an up close view of VC dunking on Chris Mullin. Unbelievable.
I think MJ is 2nd considering the way he attacked the rim and dunked on anybody in his way. I think he probably posterized every Hall of Fame big in the 90's. VC was known for not always attacking the rim like he should've while MJ never stopped.

Hey I know that this video is pretty old, and I did in fact see it for the first time a year ago, but just in case the nbadraft forum members havent seen, here is Gary G Smith dunking all over everybody. Not an NBA level player ofcourse nor is he eurobasket level but still check it out: The last dunk is probably the sickest thing I've ever seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WGhIRakWvI
