what.

Pekovic should go to a playoff team where he can produce well for someone who is missing a good center piece.
Why would Josh Smith go to the Raptors? A bad team and no reason to go there.
Andre Iguodala is opting out of his final contract year and he also doesn't like GK's system.
Some of these are a bit ridiculous.

The Wolves will be a playoff

The Wolves will be a playoff team if they stay healthy and pick up a two guard in the draft

Bynum to Portland made my

Bynum to Portland made my laugh so hard. A franchise who's been plagued with injury then goes after the most injury prone player in the league with attitude questions, perfect.

I Know........

I Know because it was a very controversial choice for me. But I think that Portland will not pass on the chance to have a big three of Aldridge, Lillard, and Bynum. They will probably just give Bynum a one or two year contract if he passes his physical and if he proves that his knees are in decent condition

No way Indiana gets Monta

No way Indiana gets Monta Ellis, we can't afford to pay him unless he is taking a MAJOR pay cut.

Also Pacers aren't going to

Also Pacers aren't going to be able to afford Ellis if they resign West and Paul George is due for a big pay day coming up. I also just don't think Ellis fits too well with their system.

Note: Festar beat me to this point.

What's with the downvotes on

What's with the downvotes on this guy? Yes, maybe you disagree with some of the destinations he chose for some of these players, but some really good conversation could come out of this.

For the most part

I think Raptors fans are hoping to land Paul Millsap and not Josh Smith. They've already got Rudy Gay at the max they don't need another guy who thinks he's worth more than his actual value.

Martin

I like your choice for Kevin Martin, he already knows the system very well and he is the shooter MN is deeply lacking. Match him with Rubio, Love, AK(who I don't think will opt out), and Pek if he resigns (which he wants to) that is a pretty solid team that if healthy.........should make the playoffs.

I actually really like Redick

I love it too, but didn't

I love it too, but didn't they trade Harden so that they'd have enough money to keep their other guys? Redick is likely going to get around 7 million if I had to guess (he wants 10 million, but I don't think he'll get close to that). Can OKC afford that?

Lakers

Hopefully Nick Young is able to learn something from Kobe, should he somehow end up back in LA with the Lakers.

I would love to see the

I would love to see the Sixers pick up Al Jefferson. They haven't had a low post threat since they traded Charles Barkley.

However I know Tyreke is from Chester but he doesn't fit in with this team. They already have a ball dominant two guard that can't shoot in Evan Turner. I would rather have Evans over Turner because Tyreke has proved he can score 20 a game in this league (albeit as a rookie). I wouldn't mind seeing the Sixers trying to move ET but i just don't know what his value would truly be around the league.

Evan Turner

I loved Turner in college. I still find hard it to believe that he hasn't lived up to the expectations. He was awful at times this season.

As a pistons fan we need a SF - like you said i don't know what his trade value is. I wouldn't give up this years lotto pick for him...

ET is still a very unique

ET is still a very unique player despite underperforming so far in Philly. He is surely one of the best rebounding guards in the league. He is also a guy that can get into the paint and get his own shot. The problem is he can't make shots. He is wildly inconsistent on the offensive end. With the Sixers not resigning Lou Williams I knew they would have big problems scoring in the half court unless Turner became a 17+ PPG scorer (He averaged 13). He actually shot the ball pretty well in the start of the season even from downtown. I thought he was due to have a pretty strong second half. Well he didn't....He didn't hit a single 3 pointer in February and the Sixers were awful down the stretch.

His defense and rebounding are his best attributes so maybe he would have some decent value to a team that already has proven perimeter scorers. I actually think he would fit perfectly in Jarrett Jack's (who is a free agent this summer) role in Golden state. He could come off the bench and have the ball in his hands with Curry and Thompson keeping the floor spaced.

The Bynum to Portland AND

The Bynum to Portland AND Clark, Young, Foye and Landry to the Lakers is a joke. Didn't know the Lakers have 20 mil a year to offer and the Bynum thing really couldn't meant serious.

What I would love to see is Monta Ellis playing for a contenter like Chicago or San Antonio. Since there is only one Playoff team with relevant cap space (Rockets) it's not happening. Maybe the Jazz are in the mix for Afflalo, Ellis or Mayo.

I don't want Chris Kaman

I don't want Chris Kaman anywhere near our cavs. I'd like to keep Speights for a modest salary, about 3 mil a year maybe 4. I really hope the cavs give Josh Smith a 4 year 40 million offer. Nikola Pekovic would be a great fit for us too along with Kyle Korver and Mo Williams as a back up point guard if we can't resign Shaun Livingston.

Why would you want Josh

Why would you want Josh Smith? His best attribute is his defense and he under performs on the offensive side. Not to mention he's a locker room cancer. Speights will get a nice contract somewhere else. Pek would be a good addition. Chris Kaman is definitely not coming to the Cavs. And if the cavs don't hold on to Shaun Livingston I'll be kinda upset.

My somewhat different opinios on these aformentioned destination

Best Destinations For Top NBA Free Agents

Centers

Dwight Howard - Dallas Mavericks
Andrew Bynum- If there are teams who are offering more than a 1-year dela that's were he'll end up.
Al Jefferson - Utah Jazz, Milsapp might be leaving and with Favors and Kanter this would be decent 3-man big rotation.
Nikola Pekovic- Minnesota Timberwolves
Chris Kamen - Might also be on a 1-yeard deal

Power Forwards

Josh Smith - Atlanta Hawks or Dallas Mavericks.
David West- Indiana Pacers, why go when you gel as good as you do now.
Paul Millsap - ?
Carl Landry - Might stick with Warriors.
Marreese Speights - Cleveland Cavaliers
J.J. Hickson - Somebody will seriously overpay this guy.

Small Forwards

Andrei Kirilenko - Minnesota Timberwolves
Matt Barnes - Los Angeles Clippers
Kyle Korver - Might stay with Hawks
Earl Clark - Somewhere else since Lakers have no money to spend.

Shooting Guards

Andre Iguodala - Best bet Sign and trade.
Monta Ellis - Team with a big PG or PG mentality SG.
OJ Mayo -Sign and trade
Tyreke Evans -in it for the money?
J.R. Smith - New York Knicks
Kevin Martin - Who is throwing the most money at him.
Nick Young - Could go anywhere.
Arron Afflalo - OKC Thunder, if Martin doesn't stay here.
Randy Foye - Where back-up PG/SG is needed he might go.
JJ Redick - Milwaukee Bucks, alreay told press it's between Ellis and him to stay.

Point Guards
Chris Paul - Los Angeles Clippers
Brandon Jennings- Milwaukee Bucks
Jeff Teague - Atlanta Hawks, finally got the chance and showed what he could do.
Mo Williams - Anyone for a shoot happy back-up PG.
Jose Calderon - Detroit Pistons
Jarrett Jack - Golden State Warriors or Dallas Mavericks.

Would love to see Redick in OKC. Don't know if they have the money to make it happen though, but I have also been very happy with Kevin Martin. Both seem to be constant professionals and great fits in OKC.

Reke in the D?

I'd like to see Tyreke in Detroit man. Let him run the point, guard the 2's. Have Brandon Knight spotting up and holding the pg's. Rekes penetration and playmaking would open up alot down low for Drummond and Monroe and also for the spot up shooters like Singler and Knight. Charlie V would even play well with Reke imo

I hope not theedge. Hawks have all that cap space and we resign Teague and maybe Josh Smith...would be awful for the Hawks.
