Bennett to Wizrds @ 3
This is a really good question because if Porter and Noel are the first two picks then were do the Wiz go. They could start a Ben McLemore trade war or draft Bennett.
When first seeing the post, I thought, this is purely a smokescreen. But McLemore and Bennett are the next best prospects by far besides Burke who can't be picked by the next several teams anyway. McLemore mimmicks Beal so much that they can't pick him.
If Noel falls then I think its a no brainer. Nene and Noel will make a nice combo and Noel can run with Wall eventually.
I think the Wizards would be extremely stupid if they select Anthony Bennett.... and I am a Bennet fan.
like the Artist said, if Porter is gone they should go with Noel. Shiii, I would go with Bmc if anything, a duo of him and Beal growing together is never a problem.
Hi there. I think Bennett will be a solid pro, but not send a rocket to the moon. Damian Lillard was a miracle for a small college player. Also, keep in mind Lillard shredded his conference. Bennett was good, but not even close to Lillard. My two cents. Take care. Thanks.

Here's why I take Bennett he is a player who won't need John wall to score I think ported is another of the ball player. I get the wizards are trying to put all the pieces around Wall the problem with that is when wall gets hurt or he decides to leave in free agency. Take Bennett he can play with wall or without wall. As good as Beal is he needs Wall to be successful.
Anthony Bennett is an awful fit for the new look wiz...which is based on ball movement and defense. He is a horrible defender, isn't super long, is very short for a PF, has a low basketball iq, doesn't like contact, and doesn't try often. Sounds like a guy who will get owned in the NBA.

Report----
Sources tell ESPN's Chad Ford that the Wizards are "very high" on UNLV F Anthony Bennett.
It's widely assumed that the Wiz will go for local product Otto Porter if he's there at No. 3. But don't sleep on Bennett, a prospect with significantly more offensive upside. As a freshman, he lit up the underrated Mountain West Conference for 16.1 points per game on 53.3 percent shooting -- and did it in just 27.1 minutes a night. Bennett is an excellent shooter and ball handler for someone listed at 6'8/240

Its all just games, rumours and smokescreens at this point but would be interesting to think who the Wizards would look at if Porter is gone @ 3 ?
