Celtics3178ParticipantSimmons is a bigger version of rondo with the strangest mentality I’ve ever seen for a star player. Simmons does not shoot the ball from beyond 15 feet even if he’s wide open. It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen. The celtics just played off him and he didn’t shoot at all. I know that’s his game but even rondo took wide open shots. It’s crazy no one gets on him about that.
He also has the strangest mentality I’ve ever seen. He’s not soft by any means he was catching bows throwing bows not in a dirty way just a physical basketball way. Then he gets tangled up with Marcus smart and he power walked so fast the other way when Marcus went to say something and Covington had to step up. In any normal circumstance I’d say good move but this is playoffs and Marcus smart has a cast on his hand. He really should have stood his ground Marcus is going to be more and more physical now with him throughout the series.

HeroescantdieParticipantabout simmons attitude, but imo i think he thinks he’s a star, and when smart tries to get in his head, he simply walk away thinking who the #$#% are you to mess with me lol. But I think he’s way way more physical in terms of giving opponents some hits and altecations than lonzo lol, I think he’s thinking his team needs him and dont give a sh&* about any altercations or nobody can mess with his head lol

The GoatParticipantI think Ben is walking away so he doesnt do something stupid. Its pretty savvy for a young guy. Dont sleep on him, he can throw one or two, he wont take any shit if hes forced to be physical

Snatalini247ParticipantSimmons did jump right in James Johnsons face as soon as he went after RoCo for fouling Dragic. I like seeing that he sticks up for his teammates but hes smart enough to backdown and not to egg on confrontation if hes the one directly involved and thats the way to be. Most of us would probably rather not get in to beef or get a tech called on us ourselves but would definitely jump in and risk it for a teammate.
