Ben McLemore To Phoenix?
Were not even at the all star break, we don't know what teams will be drafting ahead of the suns, or where the suns themselves will be drafting.
Heck even after the regular season the draft order isn't set in stone for the suns.
Yes because they could start losing games and win the lotrery. They could easily trade up for him. And it depends on where they pick at. I truly doubt B Mac goes one I think atleast Bazz and Noels eventually go 1-2 Wit Len, Zeller, Bennett, WCS, Goodwin, and Smart all jostling for a top 5 position.
Teams like Washington, Cleveland, Toronto, N'ola, and even Sactown and Orlando arent goin to be looking to draft a SG especially Wash, Cle, Nola, and Tor because Beal, Waiters, Rivers/Gordon , n Ross are all the same level prospect B Mac. I kno people are going to disagree with that cuz B Mac iss the flavor of the month and has tje type of game any bball fan gotta love but Beal and Waiters are killin it right now for being so young playing SG. EJ if healthy is possibly the 3rd best SG in the league. And Ross and B Mac project very similar.
Alot of teams need SFs in this draft but Mac is too small to play there in the pros.
I'd have to say that the Suns certainly have a chance at drafting Ben McLemore. They won't be making the playoffs this season so they have a shot at it with the other bunch of teams who won't make the playoffs.
It wasn't too long ago that the 33-49 Chicago Bulls won the draft lottery with a 1.7% chance of winning and were able to draft Derrick Rose. Crazy stuff happens all the time.
I also remember seeing Jerry West explode in 2003 when the Grizzlies got the second pick which was forfeited to the Detroit Pistons due to trade that happened years before (1997-98 season) that got them Otis Thorpe. For anyone who doesn't remember that draft class had Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh...and the Grizz missed out on the later three thanks to trading a future first round draft pick for Otis Thorpe. The Grizz would've been able to keep the pick if it was the first overall though.
In 2011, the Clippers traded their first round pick unprotected and it ended being the 1st pick in the draft...that landed them Kyrie Irving.
So yeah I'd say it's possible.

Do you think the Phoenix Suns have a chance of drafting Ben McLemore?
