not sure why he is not in first round mock.  Physical big man that can play in/out.  Have not play basketball for a long time but made tremendous improvements fresh to soph year.  In jury slowed him a bit arguably the best player on providence

I’m a big fan of him, guys like him have a place in this new, perimeter oriented league. If he keeps improving his perimeter game he can have a Mike Scott type of role on a good team

The fear with Bentil is that he’s closer to 6’6" than 6’9". As long as he measures out 6’8" and with decent length he’ll magically "jump" into the first.

I really like the guy as an NBA prospect.  He is strong, fast, athletic, and has a high game IQ.  Advanced stats are very good, with huge improvement over freshman year.  Outside shooting, and ballhandling not great, but much improved.  High character kid.  Definitely passes the eye test.

If Bentil stays another year, and continues improving at this rate, I think he’ll be a lottery pick and probably top 10.  If he does come out this year, he will probably be a late first rounder I think.  I have him #30 to Golden State in my mock, but he will go higher if he has a great combine and interviews.

Bentil needs to prove he can do something besides score. Not a great rebounder and played little defense in order to stay on the floor for 38-40 mins. He scored a lot because he was quicker than 5’s that were guarding him.

Definitely has value, more of a second rounder to me, but he could be a solid role player. From everything I hear he is a super hard worker and has amazing character so he could definitely stick.

Definitely agree with the above post about how his measurements at the combine will probably greatly impact his draft stock. His skill-set would be much more intriguing to NBA scouts in 6-9 player than a 6-7 player.

Very good outside shooter and shows good explosiveness around the basket, but not a good enough ball-handler to be able to play on the wing and he’s not a great passer at this stage either. There will be questions about his ability to defend at the next level as well, particularly if he measures shorter than anticipated. I think it’s a stretch that he winds up in the first round this year, but anything is possible I guess. Second round seems more likely if he keeps his name in.
