BlazermannParticipantin my mock i have him going to the pacers…. they need to take a chance on sum young talent i believe he can learn to be a great point guard

memphisgriz731Participantdont you think they could trade back a few picks and still get him? that way they could still get their guy and maybe add a 2nd round pick

JNixonParticipantHe could go exactly at pick 10, but he could very well go to the Raptors at 13, the Heat at 18 or the Blazers at 22 if he falls that far.

MagikKnickParticipantI think the Pacers should take him too…normally i’d encourage teams to take the BPA, but the Pacers have a HUGE need at the guard spot, and I like Avery Bradley ahead of Bledsoe & Johnson, in terms of future & potential.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI think he’s going to the raptors at 13

JazzinSLCParticipantI would pull the trigger on one of the rumored trades involving either Lawson, or Parker (assuming the rumors are true). I like Bradley. Picking him at 10 is a bit of a reach, but the Pacers need a point badly.

OhCanada-ParticipantIndiana needs a pg with good pIaymaking abiIIities. I beIieve his pIaymaking abiIIiies are at a NBA IeveI but does Indiana?

wesleymatthews23ParticipantI dont think Bradley deserves a lottery pick. So if the pacers want him so badly then they should just trade down and maybe add more players or other picks. This doesn’t surprise me though with their other picks. Tyler Hansbrough in 2009 was picked way before he should have. He should have been in Mid twenties. And also Brandon Rush in 2008. Why did they do that trade with Portland? Bayless would have been perfect. If it weren’t for this trade we would not be talking about Bradley going in the lottery which should not happen. I think Pritchard drugged Larry Bird into agreeing to that bogus trade. Its almost like the Grizz trading Pau Gasol to the Lakers for a ham sandwich in 2008. What were they thinking???

scoutguruParticipantTired of talking about this guy. He’ll be an overdrafted, undersized 2 guard role player. He shouldn’t go ahead of 20 in a normal draft, but btw like 10-23, it just seems like it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s crazy shifts in that draft range

0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/17/2010 - 10:44am #334194
memphisgriz731Participantwhy does everybody bring the pau trade up? has it worked out for the griz? yes
0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/17/2010 - 10:45am #334195
JNixonParticipantHe’s not going to be a great playmaker. I hope whoever picks him realizes that. He’s a George Hill-type of combo guard who plays PG, but would play it mostly to have the ball in his hands to look for his own shot before others. Nothing about Bradley makes me think he’ll be more than a 3 or 4 apg type PG.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThen draft Hayward and Bradley with those 2 picks….

BishopParticipantIf the pacers pick Bradley at 10 then the raptors could make an interesting trade. Calderon , Evans and Banks expiring contract for Murphy, Bradley and Jones.
Thoughts anyone!?

juves4783Participanti think at 10, you have to start drafting on potential anyways. the only sure things at 10 would be udoh or patterson, but each have question marks anyways. can udoh score at the nba level? can patterson score being a smaller player? ed davis isn’t a sure thing with his durability and weight concerns. cole aldrich is a joel pryzbilla. paul george is unproven. hayward has question marks about his athleticism. why not draft avery bradley? he’s got the athleticism and defense to play. i think he’ll shock people with his offensive ability. rick barnes definitely over recruited last year. he had dogus balbay, j’covan brown and jai lucas at pg, so there were no minutes for bradley to display his playmaking. plus all those guys weren’t big enough to play the 2 and allow bradley to play the 1.

arc1212Participanthow can he possibly be in the lottery and tommy mason griffin not get drafted…i realize bradley is 6’3 but still
they virtually did about the same thing in college…and TMG actually ate him up head to head…and he plays hella good D
plus that whole texas team collapsed…he’s mid-late first…probably should be lower0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/17/2010 - 11:21am #334225
WrecklessParticipantMan. That really shows the lack of pg’s in this years draft. Bradley doesent deserve to be picked in the lottery. But i underqtand thé pavées havé to pick a pg so…

wesleymatthews23ParticipantI brought up the Pau trade because even though Marc is not that bad, the Grizzlies would certainly be much happier with Pau at Center instead of Marc. Pau is the better player. I think we all realize that. It was a dumb trade as was the Bayless for Rush trade that the Pacers made. Both the Grizz and Pacers were drugged in order to make those trades happen. Bradley should be picked in the mid first round.

memphisgriz731Participantbut that trade allowed then to get zach randolf, marc gasol, darrell arthur and another 1st round pick this year

mj23bestever23Participantif the nugs are offeiirng lawson for the ten see u in inidaina buddy and i got bradley being a raptor which is why the getting the 16 and 23s wouldnt work unless at 16 the pacers took say sanders or antoher big trhen at 23 hope bledsoe is there or reach just a bit for johnson so actually getting those 2 would still be ok wiht me

memphisgriz731Participantchad ford just tweeted that now the pacers are considering Daniel Orton at #10. they’re bringing him in for a 2nd workout
