bkb77ParticipantI see avery Bradley as a John Starks type of player, Both Athletic & very Good Defenders,Both about 6’2\6’3. I also Could see the Knick try to move up by trading Both 2nd rnder\possible lotto protected 1st to get this guy. Knick have now PG & will need one that isnt that expensive if the Prince & whoever he wants to come with him goes to NY.

JNixonParticipantI think Terrico White is the closest thing to John Starks as there is in the 2010 class. If he’s allowed to have the ball in his hands in the NBA more than he was as a Sophomore at Ole Miss he should be closer to Starks

GreenLanternParticipantThe Starks comparison is a very good one. Bradley will need to put on a lot more muscle and develop a consistent standstill jumper to get 100% there though.

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantStarks was listed at 6′ 5″…. there goes your comparison right there.

bdoody42ParticipantWasn’t starks closer to 6’5? I think Bradley will be more like George Hill of the spurs. Thats my comparsion for Bradley

JNixonParticipant^Mine too. Almost the exact same player that George Hill is IMO.

sheltwon3ParticipantJohn Starks was not 6’5″ though. I think it was more like 6’5″ or 6’3″ He actually said it one time how tall he was and it was not 6’5″

OhCanada-ParticipantI think George Hill is a much more fundimentally sound not to say Bradley isnt fundimentally sound I just think Bradley is a less experienced player and also takes more risks.George Hill and Avery Bradley shore play big for 6’2 6’3 sized players look how long Hill is he looks 6’5 or 6’6 because of his deceptive length.

JNixonParticipantAvery Bradley doesn’t take that many risks and pretty much is very fundamentally sound on D actually. Bradley and Hill are eerily similar players

shipargosParticipantStarks made his free throws

kobyzParticipantGeorge Hill is really a bad defender, he is bad at moving his feet on defense so i don’t love the Avery Bradley comparison cause Bradley is elite defender.
the best comparison for Avery Bradley is more athletic Kirk Hinrich!0 - AuthorPosts
