gregoden08ParticipantExactly does he remind you of B-Roy? Maybe from a skill stand point, but B-Roy is a legit 6,6 220.

ballallday92Participantwell, austin rivers is 6’4, so yes maybe not the same height, and hes is HS, but height doesnt make players alike. and from my point im just saying there games are exactly alike. both of them are not flashy, both great shooters, fearless going to the rim, imo the same exact athleticism. there games just mirror eachothers imo. so yes basically what im trying to say is they both have the same exact skill set!

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantRivers reminds me of OJ Mayo. He can score very easily from what I saw.
Currently, he’s committed to FLA but rumors have him taking trips to Duke and now Kentucky.

QUINCEYbeen to a couple of his games down here in florida.. im not sure what his height is but he looks alot liek 6’3 then 6’4. i dont agree with the roy think more stephen curry. his jumper is unmatched and he can hit it from deeeeeeeeeeeep. he has a very very quick hesitation move and a quick cross over and he can get to the hole anytime he wants because you have to respect his shot. and he will come down the lane and dunk not that that matters. dont be suprised if he pulls a val brown( former aau teammate) and leads the ncaa in scoring as a freshman… very high basketball iq as well

Johnny KilroyParticipantcontact with Duke and North Carolina- haven’t seen or heard about UK being in the mix
Rivers will help out where ever he ends up.

canesboy6ParticipantI’m not sure who your recruiting people are, but I live in south florida and I can tell you that in the past 2 months I have heard nothing but that he is gone, and will decommit sometime soon. Florida is out from everything I hear.

weballin.netParticipantAustin Rivers will be one of the most talented guards to come out of HS these last years. Very good outside shooter, displays a very quick hesitation move which is hard to contain, and also high basketball IQ and bloodlines. He’s a lot like OJ Mayo and has improved drastically athletic wise. Wherever he plays at in college, he will be efficient from day one.

midwestbbscoutParticipantHe’s not going anywhere in all likelihood……he is making visits to UConn, Duke, but he has a really close relationship with Billy Donavan….he is just covering all his bases in the event Donavan pulls a Calipari or bounces to the NBA…..he says that in one of those interviews…..what pretty smart actually….
I don’t think Kentucky is really involved in anything…..in one of those interviews I posted he actually is named Calipari by name as the reason he is making these other visits…..
